That's a cool idea!

Unfortunately the only instrument I know how to play is the flute (I could do the flute track from Dark Side of Night :cool:) and with a lot of work a pathetic little bit of piano, and my voice is shit :lol:

I play flute and piano too haha! :lol: Instrument buddies. :cool:

Is singing mandatory in your cover video or just preferred? I already have a cover of Longview made up on guitar. Could I just share the one I've got made up?

My cover video has NO vocals in it. Can I just share the guitar only part?

Well, I gave it a shot. I created the midifile of the drums, the bass and the piano myself. I recorded the guitar with the Gibson Billie Joe Junior and the vocals are mine aswell. The pings during dearly beloved are downloaded aswell as the "oooooooooh" 's in the background, just to get as close to the original as I could get.. I hope you guys enjoy it :)

hey guys... i'm brand new here but i thought i'd share my entry with you wonderful fine folks. i play solo as Who Needs You and this is a weird acoustic indie cover of the network's roshambo. complete with autotune, but only because it sounded cooler that way.

Garage Band is pretty easy to use, we have it on the Ipod and you can do a lot of cool layering.

Rip the audio off the video. You can do so with Audacity, which is a free program.

I got your entry yesterday and listened to it. It's a great cover, would be 1000x better with (good) vocals
