DecanoLP Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 It's impossible to pick their best performance since lots of their shows from the same touring cycle are similiar, but if I had to name a few, I'd say: - Costa Rica 2010 (that setlist is insane!) - Leeds (BBC Radio Session) 1994 - Filmore 1997 - some other 95 shows

Noone needs GTP if they play songs like I Was There or Road To Acceptance
ghesboro Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 To me there are two best Green Day performances, and both are complete gigs. The 7/11/98 live at the Edgefest, Vancouver and the 11/18/94 Jaded in Chicago live at Aragon Ballroom.
frunsi Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 if i had to choose the best performance of one song, it would either be their performance of basket case @ the reading festival 2004 or the welcome to paradise performance on awesome as fuck. the best full show would either be woodstock 1994 (that mudfight is too epic) or the final concert of the 21stcdb tour in costa rica (they played over 40 songs and for almost 4 hours, including songs like road to acceptance, which they had not played for 15 years).
Sarcasm Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 My best show would be the second one I attended, in Norway, Ullevaal Stadion. I think it was almost 30.000 people there, it was a warm summer eve, and they played When It's Time, Extraordinary Girl and a a few more songs they didn't exactly play every show! The King for a Day number was awesome, a little kid got saved and Billie wore a Norway hat. He couldn't say the name of the kid, so he just called him Buddy
Clayish Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Greatest Green Day concert was the Warfield. Literally, the greatest setlist ever.

okotavio Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z36t2ibt00 Completely insane.
Bam-Itz-GreenDay Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Even though every single one of their concerts are amazing, i think Bullet In A Bible in its entirety (if i spelt that right..excuse my dyslexia) is the most amazing show they have played.
Kaddi. Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 I really enjoy that one Comp'd concert they did back in 2005 (?). I didn't attend it, but I really like watching videos of that show. Out of the concerts I went to, I'd say that Mainz was the best. The guys seemed to be in a really good mood, the setlist was amazing... I mean, they even played It's Fuck Time, so what more could you ask for?
