jimmywhn Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 At the beginning of "Green Day" from 39/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, right after the intro with the four chords you can hear a bong being lit I assume that was put in there on purpose because the songs about weed. Also, I have never heard the "What You Will" thing in Longview, just the backing vocals. I hear a noise that sounds like a cat meowing after though..
JDookie Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 In the last few seconds of On The Wagon you can hear Billie say "hold on" And also "thank you thank you" a bit later! There are also some voices at the end of Don't Wanna Fall in Love... But you have to turn up your volume very very loud! I actually can't decipher the words, it's too low!
Brigister Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 It's not really a "hidden thing" but it's kinda interesting that when you listen to Prosthetic Head and take off your left headphone at 2:45 you can hear only Billie's voice singing with no instrumental part.
cj_unoxx Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Whoa! oO I knew that he said something during that part but I always thought it was just some variation of "I don't care". I can hear "... is another lie" but it doesn't sound like "innocence" to me... I heard this too it's at exactly 5 minutes in the song but I hear "...is a lie" it kinda sounds like innocence I dunno though, anyone else wanna listen to it?
LittleBoyNamedTrain Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 It's not really a "hidden thing" but it's kinda interesting that when you listen to Prosthetic Head and take off your left headphone at 2:45 you can hear only Billie's voice singing with no instrumental part. ...and it's rather beautiful.
Todd Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Before All by Myself, you can hear someone (Billie?) say "shut up, its recording" or something like that

DannyDirnt Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 At the beginning of Good Riddance, you can hear Billie say 'fuck' if you turn the volume all the way up. Oh,I heard that one! Now I can't think of anything...I'll try to hear some later.Anyway for me the most hidden thing in Green Day songs from 1997 on is the bass lines xD
ThibautDookie Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 I don't know if this was posted : - In Sick of Me, at around 0:32-0:33, you can hear someone farting. - At the end of Reject, from 1:55 to 1:56 and from 1:56 to 2:00, i can hear someone singing behind the music, i don't understand what Billie is saying. - In Chump, at around 1:47-1:48, you can hear a klaxon from a tractor or a car. -At the begginning of Geek Stink Breath, you can hear someone making a "Urrrr" sound. - Did anyone noticed that in Haushinka, from 2:27 to 2:37, it sounds a lot like the end of Walking Contradiction.
frunsi Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 - Did anyone noticed that in Haushinka, from 2:27 to 2:37, it sounds a lot like the end of Walking Contradiction. they actually have lots of such "similarities" (no pride has exactly the same chords as jinx, beginning of f.o.d. and tight wad hill are the same riff and similar singing, chump beginning sounds like 2,000 light years away)
green day is Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 - At the end of Reject, from 1:55 to 1:56 and from 1:56 to 2:00, i can hear someone singing behind the music, i don't understand what Billie is saying. Pretty sure he's just laughing.
She is Amanda Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 There's a screw up in Church on Sunday, I never noticed it until I saw a comment on youtube. It's like at 2:50.
Red Lights Flash Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 There's a screw up in Church on Sunday, I never noticed it until I saw a comment on youtube. It's like at 2:50. That's not a screw up, it's definitely meant to be like that.
befgio16 Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 In the backround of Going to Pasalacqua at 1:16 you can hear Billie just shout, "fuck yea!". Haha That's not a screw up, it's definitely meant to be like that. I noticed that before too but they play it like that live.

It seems, but no. Everybody who listened that song here in my house think that too, I think it's a little special touch for the song.

Just different tuning or it's further down the neck. Can't remember been awhile sence I played 409 on my guitar lol.
