Brigister Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Has anyone already written this? I don't know, anyways in the end of "Dry ice", if you listen very closely, you can hear them saying something like "yes, yes, we did it" 'cause they repeated the recording of that song sooo many times because John Kiffmeyer kept making mistake drumming.

Oh yeah... I think I have heard someone yelling "YES!!!" at the very end of that song. And I think at the end of My Generation it sounds like Billie is coughing something up.

green day is Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 We need a big header on these kinds of threads that say "There are no animal sounds in GD songs". Seriously, is Green Day the only band that has this trend?
JDookie Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 There's something at the very end of The One That I Want...
Hermione Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 There's something at the very end of The One That I Want... You're right! Never noticed that before. Just turned the volume up really high and listened to it, it's one of them saying "Uh there might've been one...." and then it cuts off.

Hermione Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 It sounds a lot like Billie. Didn't wanna be too presumptuous just in case it wasn't him, but yeah I think you're right.

Poprocks_and_Coke Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I don´t know if it was already mentioned but at the beginning of Longview, I hear a little whistle. I only noticed it with my headphones on.
SophiaAndTheAve. Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 In the studio version of J.A.R, I can hear "suck big titties" being whispered at the end of the song. I know it's in the AAF version, maybe I'm convincing myself it's there when it isn't. I can hear it too!
BraedonHorbacio Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Theres the sound of a car honking its horn at 0:57 of Letterbomb. Ive heard the song a million times, and just noticed it last month, its probably really obvious to everyone else though. When I first noticed it, whenever i would walk outside listening to this song, I paused the song to look for the car that just honked, then I remember its in the song.

Not even hearing anything that could be mistaken for a car horn. [Edit]: Although, while listening to all the other X:57's to see if you made a typo, I noticed that during the fade-out you can hear the instruments moving, as if being put down.

bjrules Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I don't want to sound like an idiot, but I still can't hear a person yell out "What you will!" in Longview is it that thing just afterwards that sounds a bit like a cat, or is it something else that everyone except me can hear? Haha, if someone can explain it I would be so grateful

Haha, if someone can explain it I would be so grateful Yeah it is that, it's the high noise. He yells it quickly so the part you hear is mostly the "WILL" in a high voice.
