Annie, get your gun Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 At the very end of On The Wagon, you can hear someone say "thank you" Are you sure? I swear all I can hear is Billie saying "hold on". Well, I wasn't aware of some hidden things that've been posted here. But I love the start of "All By Myself" with the laughter, Billie counting and Tré's breathing I can't quite understand everything, but it's very funny. And in Rock 'n Roll Girlfriend, I think is Billie who says "don't wanna be an american idiot", actually. Not so sure now, I'll listen to more carefully...
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 The fuck is your point? Because there's more often other noises in demos. I also was going to apologise for "speaking" in a way that was uncalled for, but your response made me not want to do that anymore.
-Billiejoezee- Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 I've never actually listened to it backwards, but the bit at the beginning of "Knowledge" says "Let's get personal" when played back. ... Also I like it in "Rock and Roll Girlfriend" when Tre says "I haven't smoked in over 22 days so get off of my case" and in the background, Billie yells "Don't wanna be an American Idiot!" THIS IS MY FAVORITE PART THAT'S what he is saying! I only heard the "fuck that shit" There is a fart noise in Sick of Me. It's not really hidden though because the music actually stops for it. oh my god before "like a dog"
LauraG Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 No, no, no, it's Billie saying "Don't Wanna Be an American Idiot" Yeah I agree, it is Billie! He also sings that part during concerts so...

And there's a weird (and very funny) noise on Sick Of Me, it's not hidden, you can clearly hear it
kristinsinferno Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 You're right! It is Billie Joe! I forgot he sang it on comp'd... I know he sang it on compd but the more I listen to the actual record it sounds like mike, but what do I know.
Marlee Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 at the end of Dry ice, because it took them like 17 times to finish the track, they started screaming YES!! at the end In the middle of Prosthetic Head, you can hear someone coughing, and then Billie's voice sounds out of breath so it's believed to be Billie who coughed
sara_gd Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 you can find shitons of green day subliminal messages on youtube like this one. "Is this done intentional to turn all our hot guys gay? Or is it just a coincidence, you decide". It's obviously intentional I think this is what you said about Knowledge
Grem Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Are you sure? I swear all I can hear is Billie saying "hold on". Yeah. you have to turn your volume up really loud. It was about 1 second after billie says Hold on.
green day is Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Because there's more often other noises in demos. I also was going to apologise for "speaking" in a way that was uncalled for, but your response made me not want to do that anymore. I think you think that I meant the phone wasn't supposed to be there, like it wasn't supposed to ring in the middle of their recording, but it most certainly was. It'd be a pretty weird coincidence if it happened after THAT line, which is about a phone. Your reply just made it seem like you misunderstood what I was trying to say about the phone being there.
Mrs. Nobody Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Right after the last line in the BIAB version of Good Riddance, you can hear a girl scream "Yes Billie!" It makes me laugh every time. I love the way you can hear the public quite clearly in Biab I think it's during AWTW you can hear a girl crying saying "I love you Billie" and I think just before the intro to AI you can hear a guy say "Green day fucking rules" aha I love those little exclamations (idek how you spell that)

Pedestrian9394 Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 After September there's also a girl screaming "I love youuu!" Ahahaha. I think there's probably stuff like that after like, every song.
JDookie Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 In Viva la Gloria? After "mascara tears on your getaway" there's a Glooooriiiiaaa in the background... I was sure that they didn't mention the name Gloria in that song, so when I discovered it I was very surprised
Gwen Stacy Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 At the end of Walking Alone, after Tre drops his drumsticks, someone in the background (Mike ?) says "Sounded like a one-take"
green day is Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 At the end of Walking Alone, after Tré drops his drumsticks, someone in the background (Mike ?) says "Sounded like a one-take" You're right!
Trina Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I always thought the guy talking at the start of Knowledge was saying "Pass the fruit syrup"... :| I never even considered he wasn't saying that.
drummerdude13 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 In All By Myself, at the beginning when you can hear people talking, you can hear Mike tell Tre to "record and shut up". It's right before Tre starts breathing into the mic. But I can't understand anything that they're saying before that. Only that Tre says something and some girl laughs. Oh, and you can hear Billie start laughing at the end of Too Much Too Soon. Not sure if that's very hidden though... And I have heard that thing in Going to Pasalacqua. At first I thought something was wrong with my headphones But yeah, to hear it, you have to turn the volume up REALLY loud.
Stephanie. Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 In Do Da Da you can hear Billie laugh at the very end
burnout409 Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 This is a thread for funny or interesting things you find in Green Day songs, for example: If you listen to Longview and it goes "Call me pathetic, call me what you will" you can hear someone shout "What you will!" in the background, if you listen very closely. You can hear it on the demo versions, too. When I first realized this, my mind was blown. I listened to this song so many times, but just now got it. Anyway, did anyone find any other hidden things in Green Day songs? Ur talking about MIke's baking vocals??? coz that what i hear, i think that was definatly intentional, but i may have missed something behind that as well
green day is Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Ur talking about MIke's baking vocals??? coz that what i hear, i think that was definatly intentional, but i may have missed something behind that as well It's not Mike. It's Robert Eggplant. Read the rest of the thread. Type like a big kid.
