kristinsinferno Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I love it when my iPod is on shuffle and a song that is ending-transition-y (say, Holiday) and then a song that is beginning- transition-y song comes next (say, Haushinka). They transition perfectly but in a wrong sort of way... Am I making sense to anyone? (I usually don't)

Jaymee!! Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I always get really excited when I have my iPod on shuffle and it'll play the transitions perfectly, or it'll go from studio to live with the appropriate transition songs. It's like magic when it happens.

tunisia wants greenday Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 My favourite thing ever is the transition between Holiday and Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, when the opening guitar of BOBD starts as the long last note of Holiday fades out. I just love the way it sounds, it sounds really cool. Especially the moment when the note from Holiday finishes and the BOBD guitar suddenly sounds crystal clear on it's own just for a second before the other guitar kicks in. I remember when I first got the album I used to keep rewinding that bit to hear it again totaly agree

Kayfabe Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 My iPod, when it's on shuffle, has an eerie tendency of doing things like: Welcome To Paradise (Dookie) Welcome To Paradise (Awesome as Fuck) Welcome To Paradise (Kerplunk) Welcome To Paradise (Demo) okay maybe not all of them after the other but two versions of the same song popping up after each other happens a LOT. oh but listening through albums, I LOVE Good Riddance/WMUWSE on AAF. LOTAG/Murder City
Nobody Likes Cam Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 I'd say either the transitions between Holiday and BOBD or Chump and Longview. In the end of Chump you can hear the begining drum beat of Longview. Holiday and BOBD is awesome, too because JOS is a really long song and it just keeps on going and going, then it goes into Holiday and after that it goes directly into BOBD and it makes it seem like that is one big song. Also, on iTunes you can buy Holiday and BOBD as one song.
