I'd seen Green Day twice already this time last year! Me and Isabel had just gotten a train from Manchester to London, on which we were sitting in front of a woman who was working on something to do with health and safety for Green Day in Wembley, and she'd also been to the Munich and Manchester shows. We were supposed to email her after the show to tell her how we found the show and the security.....but we never did. Oopsies.

Becki and I were back at her parent's place at this point, all super stoked over Manchester and the news that she'd won early entry for Marlay Park. And I think I slept like 42 hours because I never fully got over the jet lag. And I was wishing and praying and hoping that Wembley wouldn't be as rough as Manchester. I can't believe I ever thought in my life that I'd want a Green Day show to be over after 2 songs, it was SO rough where we'd been on the barrier. Every time Billie shouted 'jump!' in my head I was weeping and like NOOO.

But I survived. And I decided that since I lasted the entire show (even after I got pushed off the barrier), I could last the entire show anywhere.

Your ribs must have been so bruised. :o

Finding out a load of us had gotten early entry for Marlay Park was seriously one of my happiest moments of the tour.

Perez Hilton blogged about that kiss

That's me :). And yeah, 'Green Day Goes Gay' - so awesome ! There were so many comments about my jeans haha.

Everything was bruised! My ankle was the worst though, at the end when Tre threw his drumsticks out it was literally less than an inch away from me and I didn't even give a fuck at that point and everyone rushed and I got knocked to the ground and people trampled me just to grab them. It was a very scary moment.

Nothing beats Mel though! Your poor cheek :(

I was supposed to have gone to Wembley, still got the unused ticket and everything.

WAIT WHY?! :o

This time one year ago I was getting ready to go to the airport to fly to London. Wembley was awesome :)

I flew in the day before the concert.

This time last year my mom and I went to Hard Rock Cafe in London where I saw some people who looked like potential Green Day fans. So I went up to them and it turned that 2 of them are on GDC (Susie and Marta)! We talked about how we still haven't got out tickets for Wembley....But yeah, it was nice :D

I got my tickets the same day later in the hotel.. a bit late, eh? But Susie and Marta got their tickets delivered right to the Wembley Stadium on the day of the concert. They were already queuing outside the venue even though their tickets weren't there yet. Must have been horrible :S

but we all got in!

Pretty much exactly a year ago I went to have my last waz before getting back to queue, the doors were opening soon

ha, sorry for the tmi. I just distinctly remember pacing myself so that I wouldn't be dying once inside

It was such a great. I literally cannot think of one thing that went wrong. Even getting into the stadium wasn't much of a problem. I was scared of falling down the stairs though

Oh and the concert was just mind blowing. I even blubbed at the end a little... :D

So, dear green day, can't wait for your next tour

haha Wembley wasn't today! It's tomorrow!

Today was travel to London day/PPFA show in the evening. Also the first time I met Darren after months and months of waiting, and we became inseparable smoking buddies! A couple of us met up with Jonny and Jax at the Luminare and watched all the soundchecks and went to hang around in the green rooms then went to have a drink down the street before we got ready for the evening.

That night was so amazing, with everyone showing up. I met Anja for the first time at PPFA too  Then, after many drinks consumed by myself (and Hannah) we went back to our hotel, brought Anja with us so she could keep her things in our room, and at 12:30am we were outside B/C waking everyone up with our shenanigans and laughter...shortly before cuddling for warmth because holy fuck it was COLD

oh ffs  i thought we were the nineteenth

just need to add 24 hours to the previous post

so uuh I must have been heading to the airport. Flight wasn't even delayed, win

Round about where I'd casually be mentioning to my mum that I'm going to skedaddle to a concert tomorrow. She wus not happy

Nah, yours sounds much more painful! What happened to me could have ended a lot worse...so I was fairly lucky it wasn't as bad as it could have been!

Was already queueing for Wembley this time last year! M/N was the place to be.

This is pretty much the exact minute that I was kissing Billie Joe a year ago haha. Best day ever !

Oh yeah I remember you! And the little Alison kid that was saved during EJN

There was a picture of your kiss in Kerrang mag's pull out review

Not if you're thinking actual days? Dates maybe...

I'm counting Wembley as a year ago today...

It's really weird, I was thinking about this earlier and wondering if anyone would make a thread for it... I also thought if it was going to be anyone, it'd be Jaymee :P

I miss the tour so much.

A year since the Razorbax gig

and lining up at B/C, good lordy it was SO, SO VERY COLD. When they woke us up at 4am to move the line. goddddddamn those security guards.

remember the massive fretting in the Wembley thread over which door was best, and how we made lists of who got where on their tickets?

maaan, I didn't even have my wembley ticket at this point because of the stupid dispatch problems.
