This is just the most completely bizarre thing in the world ever. But amazing. I don't miss the barwoman looking at me liked I'd asked for a kidney when I wanted some ice in my vodka though.

I think I've only met about 5 (ish) people on here.

Remember the discovery of the electronic DJ? And the rest of the bar's hatred for our selections? :woot:

Ahh 4 days from now, 19/06/10 was literally the best day of my life. I remember getting up at 5 in the morning, leaving for Wembley at 7 and getting there at 7:30. It was so worth it and the best fucking experience of my entire life it literally had me standing there afterwards rooted to the spot and i was just thinking "What the fuck just happened?" Best feeling ever. Here's one vid i took of tre's classic dance moves, my god that man can kick high

They weren't impressed were they ? I think Platypus (if I remember correctly, might've been Take Back) pushed them over the edge. Mind you, we had to stare at a load of Man Utd crap so fair's fair.

Great video! I loved Tre rubbing his nipples at Billie , it was so funny watching him try to make him laugh (but failing that time). Totally know what you mean about afterwards, what an exhilerating show!

I miss last June so much! It was the best month of my life.

June 7th i met Mike and Jason in Helsinki. And said hi to Billie but he didnt have time to talk or anything :( I was so happy I couldnt stop crying. It was unbelievable

June 8th i got to see them live in my hometown, it was so amazing.

June 16th I saw them in Manchester and then the 19th in London. I will never forget that trip. I met so many great people and i had so much fun in the queue to both gigs. The second night of queuing outside Wembley was so great! Entrance F/G was the best! :D

And then of course the show itself. Impossible to describe the feeling, it was the best night of my life.

Haha I could go on forever :P

Shouting 'get your tits out for the lads' at a VERY confused bra modelling Tre at Manchester was amazing. Even Billie looked at tiny bit shocked.

I didn't go to one in Europe :( I wen't to one In New Zealand... I heard the Europe and America ones are the best though...

photo spam!

the morning of the 16th - we had been woken up by the strage drunk guy who later bought us milk:

Megan, my sleeping bag, Belinda, Sarah, Lorie, Susie, Melanie, Isabel, Becki, Hannah and Jaymee

these are my 'concert shoes' - I've worn them at every GD concert since Manchester. I was curious to see how dirty they would get over the course of the shows. SO white here:

I'm sure everyone has a photo like this one:

the line:

this gave us Aussies much entertainment at the time, though none of us bought any:

the crowd. I moved halfway up the runway during the show thanks to the scary-as-fuck pushing from the crowd behind us:

and then after the show, I watched the stage get pulled down from our hotel room:

This time last year I had been there for about half an hour. I wanted to get there earlier but my brother had an A-level exam the same afternoon which took priority. I was on Mike's side a few rows behind J'net :)

These are 2 of the videos I took

A year...wow.

At this time a year ago I was probably stood under a lamp post with a pile of merch in my arms waiting for my dad to return from the beer tent. Yeah father + beer tent = a long achy arm wait

Would do anything to do it again though...a group of girls were behind me covered in green pen and they started freaking out way before GD was near the stage which completely demolished my calm pre-gig trance like state.

Oh and the was a wasp that would not piss off, I have a video of the stage after Joan Jett exited and half way through it goes all fuzzy and all you can hear is me shouting, "will that bloody wasp just fuck off" haha yeah the wasp fight

And the Aussie guy next to me during minority I bumped into him, he dropped his jacket and I stood on it...I felt awful haha luckily he was really cool and nice and kinda realised how much the whole thing meant to me so he didn't mind.

In my area not many people knew the words to the songs and all I remember was during East Jesus Nowhere when Billie left us to carry on the "and we will see--" I very unexpectedly shouted expecting a chorus of people behind me "HOW GODLESS A NATION *awkwardly looks around* we have become and the same with Welcome to Paradise eventually I just gave in and didn't give a shit.

The guy in front was so cool, whenever I see St Jimmy's bloody handprint on the screen at the end of JOS I always put my hand up to it and hold it there until it finishes. And the guy looked at me and he started doing the same thing

My dad cried when they came onstage too...yeah I saw you

That's just some of the amazing memories

That night was amazing. I'm pleased to say that I was there! I had a big exam the next day but NOTHING was going to stop me going to this concert. I still remember parts of the concert, like when Billie said 'have we got any old school Green Day fans here? This song's from 1997 this song's called Nice Guys Finish Last' and everyone went crazy! Brain Stew was awesome too. I also recall Burnout and Coming Clean being immense!

Hey-oh!

I would have been packing my bag for Wembley a year ago today...

It's also got some parts of the 2010 US tour in it, but I feel this should be posted here because it shows what June started for us :)

That made me cry....

My parents wouldnt let me go to the Shoreline show... I got so pissed... Wish i could have been with you guys. You obviously had such a good time, and i hope i can meet some of you someday. I still hold a fucking grudge they wouldnt let me go. Some kid in my class who knew TWO green day songs got to go.

Hopefully ill get an expeirience like that someday..

It's only one more day until the wembly stadium anniversary. Might crack open the DVD and relive some memories.

Aww my sister was gonna come over so we could watch the Wembley DVD on the anniversary but I have a cold so I'm staying away from her in case she catches it just before she goes on holiday, so we can't do it :(

I was supposed to have gone to Wembley, still got the unused ticket and everything.
