Laura! Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I like it better than before. I don't know if you guys noticed but in the top right where they have Billie's Twitter, their FB, etc. they took down Mike's twitter.
Sweet Armataged Chump Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 fail http://www.greenday.com/vids/featured-videos/5
Mary711 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I have to say I'm happy about it. Nothing new though, since it's AAF related, but the navigation is better in my opinion.
Hermione Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 fail http://www.greenday.com/vids/featured-videos/5 LMAO! That is just sad.
koolkev Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 little better, more simple, which i like. But, GDA is still way better. Wasnt too exited when browsing the new site. But, its improved, id say.
Stormy Haze Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 It looks good, I guess. It's not like I go on that website a lot, so
Daniel King Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 i just wonder if the new site will be a sneak peek of what the new album will be
jamesobxfan2296 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Pretty cool website. I'm surprised they didn't choose to hold off till the next album and theme the site to the new album. Also it was kinda disappointing that they didn't add any new extras. Like AAF wallpaper and such. It was also discouraging when I clicked on the "Tour" section and all these dates appeared. I was like "HOLY HECK, a new tour!" but it turned out they where the American Idiot musical tour dates and not Green Day dates.
jon18 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 The design seems to be the work of a 4 years old child.
Zelda Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 It's nice, nothing special though. And they're missing a lot of pictures.
Annie, get your gun Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I told you it was going to be PINK!!! I like it, but I rather the news in front page like before. Still cool And the photos look better, right now I'm watching the ones from Argentina...
IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Why are all the 'articles' just copied off the original source ? 99% of the one about Mike at the Beatles thing isn't even about him. And I could do without the AAF pop up everytime I go back to the homepage, it looks desperate.
GreenRanger Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Not that I'll visit it again until something like a tour happens, but it looks pretty good. not a fan of white, and the dates on the front page confused the hell out of me for a second.
pasalaska Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 aw no the Perth show photos are not there I was in one of those photos too
Tubbie Head Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I was expecting a whole different theme, I don't like the white. If it was like grey or something, it would be much better.
Tubbie Head Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 All photos from the first european tour are missing. Ok, it's official, I HATE THIS NEW LAYOUT!
Kristen M Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I love it! You can look the photo gallaries on mobile, which you couldn't do before!
Amber. Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I kind of like the old website better. I don't really like the setup of this one.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 fail http://www.greenday.com/vids/featured-videos/5 rofl Why are all the 'articles' just copied off the original source ? 99% of the one about Mike at the Beatles thing isn't even about him. And I could do without the AAF pop up everytime I go back to the homepage, it looks desperate. Because they fail. And I'd much rather have the pop-up than the splash page.
Undómiel Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 At least the news appears to be updated decently... rather than simply copying GDA.
Overjoyed Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I like the new website, nothing really special but so much better structure, not such a mess anymore Another fail, all these albums they say were released on jan 6th (at least the year of release is right): 39/smooth, Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning, International Superhits and Shenanigans
Katarina. Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I think the site looks great! It looks better, clearer, it doesn't take long to load etc etc. Yeah, it just looks nice. I like how they, besides the great drunk pink bunny, included a picture of the warning man I like that they still have this graffiti style/stencils thing going on. Makes me think of how the site (great photos btw!..) looked in the Shenanigans era. Luckily it got better over the years xD Lol, look at the music section. First it says 21CB was released on January 11th, then right below that it says the correct date. And the rest of the albums (not BIAB/AI) are all released on the 6th of January? haha Well anyway, the best part about this site update is.. that we can actually save the (concert) photos to our computer! (And I thought the photos are a bit bigger as well) Awesome as.. Edit: hold on.. they left out the UK/European (Rocktober) '09 tour pics? What. They better update the pics section again with those photos!
raven052 Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Kinda like it. Like the fact the news stuff (also the twitter links. Although... Where's Mike's? Or am I being stupid?) is right there on the front page. Although yeah, looks like there's stuff they need to add/change still. Quite like the AAF layout, too. Looks... Clean? Yeah. Or fresh. One of those words, neither of which you'd you usually use to describe a web design...
