btw, I can't believe people don't know what burritos are. They're the best.

In my town you'd be lucky if people knew where Mexico was, never mind what food originates there.

Strange. They only drink out of black cups but noticed quite alot that tré always has a red cup (usually filled with lemonade) on his table during concerts (along with a torch, pen, song list)

Rock On.

That's why i'm thinking that comment was a joke, or at least for the most part.

Sounds like the guys eat healthier than I do.

Ravioli! :woot::wub:

While the band performs in front of tens of thousands, the chefs work behind the stage cooking under work lights. They know the shows so well their work is choreographed to the band's performance. They know when to press their fingers in their ears just before the special-effect explosions go off on stage. From the chorus of the last medley, they calculate when to fire up the last sauté.

 Just imagine how the chefs rock out to GD songs.

maybe they sing along to their songs, but invent new lyrics or titles for them like... Cigarettes and Chicken Breasts

So when you're cooking at home, put on a Green Day CD, rock out like you are backstage at one of their concerts and before you know it, dinner will be on the table

Yeah we don't really do Mexican food over here do we

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burrito

I knew it was a popular Mexican food but I didn't know exactly what it was until I just looked it up. But Americans eat Mexican stuff all the time like we eat Indian stuff.

Wait...a burrito is the same as a fajita? Because by that description, it sounds like it's the same thing that here we call a fajita...and yes, they are really yummy

Yeah Tre has a red cup, well he definitely had it at one of the shows I was at last summer, I have photographic evidence :sherlock:

 at the whole cup scenario though.

Hmm googling "fajita burrito difference" brings up a lot of different answers explaining how they're slightly different. The main difference seems to be that burritos are served totally folded up with the ends tucked in, while with a fajita you usually put the ingredients on the tortilla and roll it up yourself. But seems like they're very similar, I'd definitely enjoy eating both of them!

Cigarettes and Chicken Breasts

Lmao

They are very similar, and use many of the same ingredients (hell, most Mexican food has the same ingredients), but fajita is usually served a little differently (wrapped differently), and while you can pretty much put anything in a burrito, fajitas are usually referred to just when you make steak/chicken strips like this. Put that in a tortilla and munch away.

A burrito is basically anything wrapped in a tortilla and the ends folded in. You could probably wrap the above in a tortilla and fold the ends in to make a fajita burrito.

Oooh can I make the burrito thing even more confusing? :D

What America calls burritos, and the UK calls fajitas, is what we call a tortilla :D

I loved this article! So interesting to think about this aspect of touring...

Wait, so a burrito is actually the same thing we call a tortilla, am I right? :o I always thought it's something different

I think the tortilla is just the flatbread. You'd wrap a tortilla flatbread around stuff to make a burrito or a fajita. OR you could just call the tortilla flatbread with stuff inside it a tortilla.

Tortillas, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, tacos..........all just tortillas with stuff inside prepared in different ways.

That's why I posted it haha. As far as I know, in English, tortilla is only the flatbread/pancake-thing, but in Dutch (and apparently in Czech too), the whole thing is called a tortilla.

I've never even seen a taco irl  I'd love to have chefs follow me around and give me food like that every day, I need to start eating healthier.

Well this was interesting. I never honestly thought about the foods that they ate... I just figured that they ate whatever they wanted  Not all the fancy things that they are eating.
