Mommy's Little Nightmare Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Was anyone actually surprised by the fact that he won? I just wish there would have been more than just an announcement or whatever. I'm thrilled he won, but kinda disappointed that it just wasn't made into much. I guess in actuality, it really isn't much... but last year, the Audience Choice Awards felt bigger than this year.

He will get an award. I know they did. I just feel like it was still a bigger deal last year. But maybe that's because Idiot was still so new, and was plastered all over that. It just... this seemed lame to me. I was really excited when I found out he was nominated, then he won, and I was just like "Well that sucked."

"Bigger" for Idiot fans or "bigger" for those awards, in general? Of course, it wouldn't be bigger for Idiot since it already closed & for the most part, the categories are for shows that just opened, which is why Idiot got more buzz last year. As far as the Broadway.com Awards themselves go, I felt it was bigger this year than last. Once again, this is going with what I'm interpreting what you mean by "bigger."
