Iminyourcoffeemaker Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 So you mean when billie mike or tre turn 47 they won't headline their shows?ok... Excuse me, I meant to say open. No, I don't think Bad Religion, at this point in their career, should be opening for a band as big and successful as Green Day. Leave that to an up and coming band who needs to hit it big. Not a band on the way out like Bad Religion (who has announced they are going to break up multiple times). It has nothing to do with age. Wow I did not expect this thread to come back. This debate is dead now, right? no? Oh shit, I had no idea how old this was. Hahaha. I just saw it come up on recent topics so I commented. Hahaha.
DecanoLP Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Wow, I didn't expect this thread to come back... Seriously, who gives a fuck about what Bad Religion and Green Day have or haven't done? Shall I hate Bad Religion just because they said something apparently not so nice about Green Day? This discussion is absurd...
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Yeah Green Day NEVER gives back. They didn't donate a whole live system to Gilman St., they didn't get Pansy Division on tour during their big break, they just talk shit about all these bands from the 90's who they respect. /sarcasm yeah...wtf Bad Religion?! Sucks when a band you like acts like that...sounds like they simply want more limelight. Green Day give back more than any other band i know of. I never would have heard of Pansy Division if not for them (for example) and i have all their albums etc. They needed promotion more than B.R. At least in Europe...Green Day did that for them.
Trotsky Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Some stories are time relevant and I'm not sure much will come out of this epic grave dig.
