Panic Song (i thought for a long time that it didn't have lyrics) , Viva La Gloria, Before the Lobotomy

Which song has Mike yelling and throwing stuff for the intro? That's a good one too

Desensitized? XD

I like the start of Nice Guys Finish Last, and the drum intro to 86 as well as the ones that have been said like No One Knows and Panic Song obviously. Also Lights Out has a really good intro, the drum sound is awesome.

Same here! I always skipped Panic Song on my CD. But then I found out it did and it's one of my favorites.

Anyways, I think American Idiot's the classic intro.

I really like the intro to Jesus of Suburbia, Too Much Too Soon and Walking Alone, too.

I don't know. There's too many good intros to just pick one. :sherlock:

Stuart and the Ave & Armatage Shanks are my favorites. I like No One Knows, JAR, When I Come Around, East Jesus Nowhere There are a lot of really good intros.

Besides the ones you have mentioned yet, I like very much Dry Ice's intro!

Desensitized...just amazing

The first song that pops into my head is Desensitised!

That baseball smashing rage of Mike's at the beginning always strikes a chord in me, one of a combination of awe, fear, approval, and some kind of satisfaction, and then the way the guitar blasts in right along with the smashing is just ... Fucking stellar. So I'm gonna go with that. :D

2nded, or rather 10thed. Doesn't get any better than smashing things.

I also like 21CB...Know Your Enemy is also a really good one too. It's not a new drumbeat, but Tre does it damn right! Loud and proud, yknow? And naturally, Whatsername. that intro instantly blurs the line between electric and acoustic. It allows for the song to explode later on. The dynamics are excellent.

Jesus Of Suburbia (boom boom boom), American Idiot, and the BBC version of Basket Case (message will be erased).

I rather like the intro to Extraordinary Girl myself.

And 21st Century Breakdown is always just going to be a little bit extra special for me. The opened with it the first time I saw them, so whenever I hear it, it brings back a lot of memories

Honestly, I could be just sitting on a bus or something, and this would come on on my mp3 player, and I swear sometimes I get emotional listening to it.

I gotta go with 86, because of the awesome drum intro by Tre Cool

For me, its Longview, Panic Song and Good Riddance of course. ;) *fuck*
