I saw this when i was on my lunch break at work but didnt have my headphones

Thanks so much for the download link :D

I hope we get more of these unreleased soundboard concerts. I'd be in heaven. :runaround:

Yay for Absolute Radio!! =)

Thanks Matt for the download link!, I was about to ask for it xD

I was all excited for When It's Time, but seems like it's missing

LOL for some reason when billie says "fucking" twice in 21st century breakdown it is fine but in the other tracks it is not allowed. :/ i love the recording of 21st cbd though because it seems almost untouched, thats how i like it!

woah! wait a second billies family was originally from england :D REALLY REALLY...!!! lies

i think AAF had quite a lot of auto-tuning in it. i was like no.way.is.that.billies voice now i feel slightly better about my own singing :)

not that billies bad at singing just it sounded a bit too perfect if you know what i mean :S

At least, there is no alteration and the sound is crystal clear.

Yeah, and one of the AAF tracks is there. so you can check the difference. Thank you

Thanks so much for this, Nice Guys Finish Last is going in the Awesome As Fuck tracklisting! Delighted they never cut out the "I'm so fucking happy I could cry". Might try and fiddle about with Basket Case and some of the songs from the AAF DVD and try and make a huge tracklisting for it since there's no need to have 3 gigs with only one or two songs I will actually use.

Just been listening to it now  Brings back so many memories...the best day of my life ever

Thank you for posting

Thanks for the download link! But, was When It's Time not streamed or something? It was not in the .rar

Posted

was just gonna ask the same, is it just me or is there no When It's Time? (in the stream, have not downloaded it [yet])

This recording sounds better, more clear, than the AAF CD, I don't know why... The crowd sounds so great in it!

Hopefully more "spare recordings" from the aaf process will surface the Internet soon

I've got to believe that, with a "vault" (or at least several portable hard drives) full of recordings lying around, at least a few will make their way out over time.

I certainly hope Warner or Green Day or whoever has the master recordings knows better than to hit "delete." Lots of great live recordings have been lost forever simply because the record label didn't want to use the space on them.

I pray to god this happens, I need more!!!

Also, was this the same Manchester concert?

Posted

Yes, AFAIK they only played one outdoor show at Manchester.

Sorry, I just noticed that the only time they played 86 during 2010, which is my favorite song was there and it isn't on the Absolute Radio Manchester Gig Setlist.

Posted

awesome! I can listen to this instead of being upset over not having AAF

Posted

Loving this version of NGFL. I think I'll gonna do something like AAF part 2. :)

At least they should do something that those records won't find their way into the waste.offering them as download within in the IC could be a way.
