Sanity Loan Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 only thing i don't like is that douche going "you're listening to Absolute Radio" inbetween songs Same. I tried to cut out as much of that as I could
ANJI Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I saw this when i was on my lunch break at work but didnt have my headphones Thanks so much for the download link
Guest EDIT Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I hope we get more of these unreleased soundboard concerts. I'd be in heaven.
Tubbie Head Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Yay for Absolute Radio!! =) Thanks Matt for the download link!, I was about to ask for it xD I was all excited for When It's Time, but seems like it's missing
Bastard of 1967 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Enjoy! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E2L7G2AD Mods: Alex said I could post this so don't remove the link Ya beat me to it, fink.
oscar is a nimrod Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 LOL for some reason when billie says "fucking" twice in 21st century breakdown it is fine but in the other tracks it is not allowed. :/ i love the recording of 21st cbd though because it seems almost untouched, thats how i like it! woah! wait a second billies family was originally from england REALLY REALLY...!!! lies i think AAF had quite a lot of auto-tuning in it. i was like no.way.is.that.billies voice now i feel slightly better about my own singing not that billies bad at singing just it sounded a bit too perfect if you know what i mean
greendepent Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 At least, there is no alteration and the sound is crystal clear. Yeah, and one of the AAF tracks is there. so you can check the difference. Thank you
Tre_Gina Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I am listening to it now - bringing back so many memories
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Awesome, will listen later today
oscar is a nimrod Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 i have so much audio now that i have put two concerts on my ipod!!! thanks sooo much matt !
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Thanks so much for this, Nice Guys Finish Last is going in the Awesome As Fuck tracklisting! Delighted they never cut out the "I'm so fucking happy I could cry". Might try and fiddle about with Basket Case and some of the songs from the AAF DVD and try and make a huge tracklisting for it since there's no need to have 3 gigs with only one or two songs I will actually use.
Smoothed Out Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Just been listening to it now Brings back so many memories...the best day of my life ever Thank you for posting
blueboy Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Thanks for the download link! But, was When It's Time not streamed or something? It was not in the .rar
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 was just gonna ask the same, is it just me or is there no When It's Time? (in the stream, have not downloaded it [yet])
Tubbie Head Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 This recording sounds better, more clear, than the AAF CD, I don't know why... The crowd sounds so great in it!
Tomcat20 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Hopefully more "spare recordings" from the aaf process will surface the Internet soon
Guest EDIT Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I've got to believe that, with a "vault" (or at least several portable hard drives) full of recordings lying around, at least a few will make their way out over time. I certainly hope Warner or Green Day or whoever has the master recordings knows better than to hit "delete." Lots of great live recordings have been lost forever simply because the record label didn't want to use the space on them. I pray to god this happens, I need more!!! Also, was this the same Manchester concert?
Guest EDIT Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Yes, AFAIK they only played one outdoor show at Manchester. Sorry, I just noticed that the only time they played 86 during 2010, which is my favorite song was there and it isn't on the Absolute Radio Manchester Gig Setlist.
Marlee Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 awesome! I can listen to this instead of being upset over not having AAF
PasalacquaBomb Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Loving this version of NGFL. I think I'll gonna do something like AAF part 2.
Tomcat20 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 At least they should do something that those records won't find their way into the waste.offering them as download within in the IC could be a way.
Tre_Gina Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 wow the BANG BANG is loud in holiday - my ears nearly exploded this afternoon!
Sanity Loan Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 "When It's Time" is BEAUTIFUL. Especially Billie's speech before it. Download it: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IANA5TQY
