Man, what if his kids saw him like this. Falling over and pissing on stage.

Irresponsible Parent Moment :o

After I thought about it while I was there....I wouldn't have wanted to go in anyway. Niki Lee made a good point while we were there, this was for their friends and family and we would have been out of place.

I don't understand how you could feel out of place if you got in. I was invited, and when someone is invited somewhere it means they're wanted there. Though I would most certainly feel out of place acting like a "fan" by annoying the band/cast for pictures or autographs.

Exactly. I was invited also, so it wasn't special treatment like Andres implied. It was confirmed with him earlier in the day. If he had just told me what to do... come back later or whatever, that is all I asked. That is all anyone would have asked.

In the end, it was fine, I should have gone home anyway after the stitches.

That's true, but Bill Schneider was in a foul mood at the door. I was on the guest list, and I went up to him, but didn't get to the list itself. He said to me, "we haven't done the guestlist" yet, with it being full well in front of him. Then he just stopped talking to me and wouldn't tell me anything like when to come back. I was so confused about what was happening and nervous at the same time, while being tired after fainting earlier in the day in front of the theater and getting stitches that I didn't know what to do, and that lady who owns the club is just one strange person. She yelled at me when I told her I was on the list for no reason. I felt so humiliated in front of people. It was horrible. The person who put me on the list did it out of the kindness of her heart, and not only was I embarrassed in front of her, but in front of Eddie also, who I had talked with earlier and told him I would be there. And then when I messaged the person who put me on the list, Bill told her I had upset the lady, when in fact, he was completely unhelpful and rude from the get-go.

That really sucks. I just know he was really stressed out that night. It was 100% a private party from the start and it probably stressed him out even more because it was an extra thing to deal with... turning away disappointed fans that were misinformed and showed up there. I'm sure it was nothing personal towards you.

Might As Well Post My REcap Of Friday Night Here

“I want to thank Tiwary Entertainment for the amazing experience they gave me on Friday 4/22/11. As an avid fan of American Idiot and an even bigger Green Day fan, when I heard about this contest I had to enter. I was ecstatic when I found out I won and to make it even more exciting finding out I would have the opportunity to go backstage after the show was mind blowing.

When my sister Cari and I arrived at the theatre we picked up our tickets and headed to our seats. The seats were great. They were 6 rows back in the orchestra. We even saw Billie Joe’s wife sitting a few rows down from us. The show itself was phenomenal. My sister and I were smiling the entire time. We were both sad when the show ended, but excited as we knew what was coming; a backstage tour.

As we walked through the ally and to the “man with the list” of those allowed backstage our excitement only grew. We met up with Tiwary’s intern Elisa, and the shows bassist Dan Grennes came out to get the three of us. While backstage we had the opportunity to walk onto the stage and see all the props. The whole experience was surreal. After taking a few pictures of the stage and with a few cast members Cari noticed Michael Mayer, the shows director and co-writer standing in the wings. The three of us went over to him to ask for a picture, but he was speaking with someone and we did not want to interrupt; so we waited. The person he was talking with had his back to us and even though we were standing right behind him none of us noticed who it was. After a few seconds we realized it was the one and only… BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG. We couldn’t believe our eyes. When the two of them finished speaking we had to opportunity to talk with them both a little and thank them for creating such a great show and to thank Billie whose music means so much to us. After speaking with them Billie signed some things I had brought with me and his son Jacob took a picture with the two of us with Billie and his wife Adrienne.

It was an incredible experience and I am so thankful to Tiwary and Dan Grennes for giving my sister and I this opportunity, it was something we will never forget.”

Damn Tanya, you can never get a break. =/

Glad those who went had a great time. If I was in town, I don't think I would've gone down there and stand outside; Would feel like I was overstepping my boundaries.

Thanks, Jess. Yes, it did suck.

Haha, thanks, Moffie. I've had a good few years, though. So, I can't complain.

If it's supposed to be private, then no offence, why were people inviting fans in the first place? They don't have to include fans in everything. Specially fans who have already been involved in a lot of events. Personally I don't see why people even tried to get in, even if they had been told they were on the list. Private means private and should have been a big enough hint that they didn't want fans there.

You can also go to the forum guidelines and it will walk you through how to do it step by step.

Thank you! I'm ok. I got an ambulance ride with hot paramedics and was out of the hospital in time to go home, rest for a moment and come back to the show that night.

What happened was that I was across the street at Phantom of the Opera talking with David and Jaymee, and then everyone started screaming at the St. James because Billie Joe had tweeted about Niki's book. I was squatting down in the sun, writing a tweet about it, and asked David to help me back up. The moment he got me up, apparently I passed out, fell, and hit the concrete. I don't know how long I was out, but I remember the first thing I said was, "What the hell happened." Haha. I thought someone had come by and curbed me or something.

The ambulance came and we went to Bellevue and I got seven stitches. Jaymee and David and this other girl whose name I can't remember were so kind and helpful. I thanked them profusely on Facebook, but I should thank them profusely here, too. I don't know what would have happened if they weren't there.

The private thing also means I wish people would stop complaining about his behavior....he can act however the fuck he wants at a Private Party!

Wait, you were the one that passed out? I saw a few tweets about it but no one from the GDC circle. I'm glad you came out of it on the bright side. The sun can give a person a beating.

And he was very drunk, so he probably wasn't thinking at all.

I was picturing a fangirl piercing scream caused you to break an eardrum and then pass out! J/K Glad you made it back in time but sorry to hear about your troubles later that night :(

Completely agree!!!! When you are at "work" you act completely different from when you are with friends. This was a private party not a concert in Madison Square or anything of the sort.
