SmoothSlappyHours Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 All I know is that he usually wears Converse and TUK (shoes)... How about his clothes? Do you have any idea about it?
Vaso.Of.Suburbia Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 How about his clothes? Do you have any idea about it? Check this out. Billie Joe, his wife Adrienne and Jason White have found Adeline Street, a full line of men's and women's alternative/punk inspired street-wear. I hope it helps.
Undómiel Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Do any of the Green Day biographies have anything about the musical and 21st CB?
green day is Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Do any of the Green Day biographies have anything about the musical and 21st CB? Not at the moment. Unless there's a new one out, but I doubt it.
jtdscape Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Do any of the Green Day biographies have anything about the musical and 21st CB? Not at the moment. Unless there's a new one out, but I doubt it. I think that someone posted on here that there is a new version of Nobody Likes You out that it updated and released at the end of 2010. Hold on let me take a look. EDIT: Here is the link to the 2010 version of the book which I believe has stuff about 21st Century Breakdown in it. http://www.bol.com/nl/p/engelse-boeken/nobody-likes-you/1001004010208347/index.html#product_description

LetItBeHappy Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I once heard that Platypus was written about a guy from a magazine, who the band really hated and viceversa. Does anybody know if it's the same Yohannan from MRR that appeared in "Nobody likes you"?
SuzieCreamCheese Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Does anyone know if there's a thread with videos from the recent Broadway performances? Thanks
SuzieCreamCheese Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 ^^ There's one with St. Billie videos. in the Green Day chat section?
Ellenkc Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 I once heard that Platypus was written about a guy from a magazine, who the band really hated and viceversa. Does anybody know if it's the same Yohannan from MRR that appeared in "Nobody likes you"? It's never been confirmed and I doubt it ever will be, but I'd say it is about him. Tim's notorious to have been a right cunt and he died of cancer in 1998 so it does fit it with Platypus extremely well. I always thought Ha Ha You're Dead was about him too, but I'm just guessing that. Does anyone know if there's a thread with videos from the recent Broadway performances? Thanks Here

deadair Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 i was really looking EVERYWHERE for that informations, but i didn't found them..so i hope you can help me where or when were these songs recorded?? 2009 - 21 Guns (2nd Single) 01 21 Guns 02 Favorite Son 03 She (Live) <- Date? 2009 - 21 Guns Live EP 01 21 Guns (Live) <- Date? 02 Welcome to Paradise (Live) <- Date? 03 Brain Stew-Jaded (Albany, 25.07.2009) <- found it out on my own 04 F.O.D. (Live) <- Date? 2009 - 21st Century Breakdown (Single) 01 21st Century Breakdown 02 Last of the American Girls (Live) <- Date? 2010 - Last of the American Girls (Single) 01 Last of the American Girls 02 Know Your Enemy (Live) <- Date? 03 21st Century Breakdown (Verizon Studio 880 Session) thanks for your help! I'm pretty positive the live version of "Last Of The American Girls" from the 21st Century Breakdown single is from the 2009/05/28 Tokyo show that is also on the Last Night On Earth EP? Now for my questions, is the studio version of "When It's Time" a recording that was previously unreleased from the American Idiot sessions or was it re-recorded specially for the cast recording? Also, since "Shoplifter" was released as a single before American Idiot came out to tide fans over (and re-released as a b-side/bonus track for American Idiot), do you think it was from the unreleased holy-grail Cigarettes And Valentines album?

I think it may well be a leftover judging from this review of Heart Like A Handgrenade, which mentions it, but maybe they re-recorded it. http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/2080/

Well Ha Ha You're Dead was about someone dying from cancer, so I think its too much of a coincidence for it not to be about Tim too
green day is Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I've read that When it's Time was written fort Adrienne in the Kerplunk! days, but it was just pulled out again. Why are some singles in the vinyl box set not singles? Like 409, 2,000 Light Years Away. And, on the subject of that, are there any pictures of every single in it? I'd like to see what they put on all the non-single ones.

I went to go take photos for you, but now I can't find my boxset I'll keep looking and post photos if no one beats me to it found it. 409 is the Slappy EP, so that's the same cover with the dog other singles here - Going To Pasalacqua//Road To Acceptance/Disappearing Boy: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c238/_Aska_/P1030965.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c238/_Aska_/P1030966.jpg 2000 Light Years Away/Welcome to Paradise/Who Wrote Holden Caufield/WTP (live) http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c238/_Aska_/P1030967.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c238/_Aska_/P1030968.jpg Christie Road/One Of My Lies/One For The Razoracks/OOML (live) http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c238/_Aska_/P1030969.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c238/_Aska_/P1030970.jpg the rest of the covers are the same as the original releases

But, if it's not too much trouble, I actually would like to see the Slappy cover with 409 written on it. Provided it does actually have it written.

green day is Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Yes, but that's the one with "Slappy" written on it. What I was saying is that I'd like to see the one with "409 in your Coffeemaker" on it.

The set also has the 1000 Hours EP and the Sweet Children EP, so really it's more a singles and EPs box. does that make sense? There is no stand-alone 409 single.
