short offtopic: sanne why are you still awake dont you have like school tomorrow? :o

Just came back from a school party thing... well actually an hour ago. School is giving the first four periods off because of said party (normally they wouldn't do that, but I suppose it's because they majorly fucked up with the party), so I start at like 12:30

Which mean I still should have gone to bed an hour ago. But oh well.

Also, I'm not exactly a responsible person... or not responsible for myself, anyway.

I'm going to buy Nobody Likes You, that Green Day book, soon. Just a couple minutes ago I was checking the site again to see if they still sold it/it had a discount etc. I noticed there's a new edition.

Does anyone know more about that? I guess it's pretty new, since it says "December 2010", and apparently it has 18 more pages.. No idea what they could have added, except for photos maybe.

FUCK MY LIFE, I ORDERED MY COPY ON DECEMBER'S FIRST WEEK xD!!! well, this week it will finally arrive, and I'll see which edition is it xD

wait a sec, I reead the rest of the thread. My mom bought one that was cheaper than the price I saw online, so maybe she ordered the new one. Yay.

thanks for leading me here...

hmmmm... what clothes does he (Billie Joe) wear on live performances? (brands, and whether or not it is tailored)?

I'd say the shirts he wore for the majority of the 21CB tour are tailored (the ones with the patches) - Mike's vests with the same patches are almost definately tailored as they have no labels in them.

I'm not sure about his striped red pants he wore in the US, but the plain red pants he wore are Lip Service brand

red pants

and the shoes he wore on stage this year are Draven-brand 'Wayne'

shoes

hope that helps

^ oh yeah your name reminds me.

I dont know if this has been answered before but I recently found out that Pasalaqua is, or was, a funeral home in Rodeo.

and Enemius Sleepus is latin, meaning "Sleep with the buyer"

Sorry to disappoint you, but that ain't Latin ;)

(and it's Emenius, not Enemius)

but I didn't know Pasalacqua was in Rodeo, I thought it was a funeral home in Benicia...

Well, after wasting 20 minutes in my Latin dictionary because I have no life, my conclusion from the Emenius Sleepus thing is that it isn't Latin, but it has some ground in there, as Emenius could have been taken from the word emptor, which does mean buyer, or emere: to buy. "Sleepus" is nonsense as that is not in any way a word in Latin, and the conjugation is wrong as well even if it was an existing word in Latin (it wouldn't be a verb, or not if it's only those two words anyway). Probably just sounds funny because it rhymes with Emenius.

Well that was boring for everyone.

I got mine at a book store. But you could also order it off of the internet.

If you have a credit card the internet is the best place. Amazon or ebay are the best sites I'd go to first.

Also, has anybody got any pics of Pasalacqua funeral home? I've never been able to find any

He's the chairman (a leader thingy I guess. ) for Warner Brother's now. But I think he produced some other albums, when GD was about to make 21CBD.

to me, Emenius sounds to "emanar" in spanish, which would be... to emanate? and sleepus to sleep... Wonder what the hell were the guys thinking when they named stuff those days xD and it wasn't boring at all!

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this but, I am doing a feature story on the American Idiot musical, and it would be well appreciated if somebody could maybe give some links to interviews done with anyone involved with it and just general information about it. Also, one thing that i have been looking for but cannot find is when Michael Mayer approached Green Day about the idea. Another thing that would be a big help is if you have seen the musical, could i get some opinions on it, like what you loved and what you didn't like so much about it, i will not use your name in the story. thank you soo much!

As for stories, there are a lot in these two threads:

Billie currently in AI

I know they are a lot to read, but there's great info there.

so my copy of Nobody likes you finally arrived (it costed me like 10 dollars and it's the first edition), and I already have a question  When did Billie's father die? I thought it was on September 10th, 1982, but according to the book it was on September 1st. Also, I don't remember where, I heard that Mike got to met Andy, but if he died on September 1st.... anyways, which is the correct date?
