elisa Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Does anyone remember when the Boulevard Of Broken Dreams video came out? I can't find the date anywhere Does anyone know how long the American Idiot musical is supposed to run for? as far as I know, until May. i might be wrong though.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Yeah, tickets are sold up to May 1st. But it's not official that there won't be any dates after that, or that they'll stop it early.
jtdscape Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Does anyone remember when the Boulevard Of Broken Dreams video came out? I can't find the date anywhere Sometime in November of 2004 I believe. I am trying to find an exact date now.
Hermione Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I just wondered why Tre is not in Riding in Vans with Boys?? He's in it for a few seconds (right at the end I think?). He'd just got married and had a new baby at the time so he was probably just very busy during that tour. None of Green Day are in it that much anyway to be fair.

November's Storms Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Thanks a lot! The only moments worth watching are those ones with Mike and Billie. I don't think so, I really enjoyed the whole thing. A big insight to life on the road.
Katarina. Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 I'm going to buy Nobody Likes You, that Green Day book, soon. Just a couple minutes ago I was checking the site again to see if they still sold it/it had a discount etc. I noticed there's a new edition. Does anyone know more about that? I guess it's pretty new, since it says "December 2010", and apparently it has 18 more pages.. No idea what they could have added, except for photos maybe. Link to 2007 edition Link to 2010 edition
November's Storms Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Nobody Likes You doesn't have anything about 21st Century Breakdown on it, and only mentions that the musical is on a trial run in Berkeley so the updated version could have more of what has happened in the last year.

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Well fuck. I just got that book a couple of weeks ago! From that same website as well, I think. But mine's only got 206 pages, so it's the old version. But it really must've been close, I got it early December.... fuck!
Katarina. Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I think I'm going to buy the new edition then, mostly because it's cheaper, haha. I'll update you guys if it really included more information. Thanks everyone who replied to my question.
-Billiejoezee- Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Wait there's a 2010 version? I only have the old one.
Laura! Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 I looked on a few bookstore websites and all I found was the 2007 edition.
XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Hey guys I was wondering if this profile - http://www.poetry.com/user/b.-armstrong/8857734/ on poetry.com is actually Billie's. I know a lot of people say it is, and it sounds like Billie's writing and the poem on there mentions Adrienne but I'm doing an assignment for my creative writing class and I just need to know for sure, so if anyone could help out I'd appreciate it!
oda Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 ^ I don't think so. It's not even spelled correctly

XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 his poem Windy Smiles I stare up apon her face. I aknowledge that smile. am i wrong? i don't speak english usually so i always second guess myself. oh yeah I didn't see that. You're right haha, but everything else seems to be spelled correctly so it may be him and he just made a typo, i have no idea haha.

You're right haha, but everything else seems to be spelled correctly so it may be him and he just made a typo, i have no idea haha. Actually, repitition is written twice in it aswell. I'm sorry but i'm pretty sure it's not Billie. And to be honest i don't think it really sounds like him either, because he is more into metaphors and double meanings and stuff. Not obvious descriptions
Florence Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I'm sorry but i'm pretty sure it's not Billie. And to be honest i don't think it really sounds like him either, because he is more into metaphors and double meanings and stuff. Not obvious descriptions I totally agree with you. Some people rumored that Billie has a poetry.com account and I never really believed that stuff. (Maybe he has, who knows? ) However, I don't think Billie would obviously write "Adrienne" in (lyrics or) a poem. That wouldn't be Billie-like.
green day is Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Billie Joe has written poetry (I've even seen him read it, but I don't remember where or what video) but that probably isn't it.
green day is Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 ^ I would too, but unfortunately it was long ago and I don't remember so much as the name of the poem.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I bought that book less than a week ago, and now I find out there's an updated version? ... woooo me too well, a couple of weeks, but same difference, it was in also in December.
