Katarina. Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 - he's friends with various GD family members and GD crew - the photos he's got of his drums. If it's not him, then it's run by someone VERY close to him. - he's posted a few updates while on tour a while ago. it's him. there's really no doubt. Ah, cool (tre cool). I didn't know about that.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 And he mentioned in an interview once something like "I have a facebook, it's the one with the dog as a profile picture", and at the time that was the only one with indeed a dog as picture. He never mentioned it was his dog, though.
pasalaska Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 I swear I heard from somewhere that it was his dog, but I really can't remember. it's bugging me now
farley drexel hatcher Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 I think he thinks that FB is deleted. I think he deleted it, then logged back in without realising it would bring it back. Whatever is it, he doesn't use it anymore and hasn't in months, as far as I can tell. But yeah I think that is his dog.
Guest Shangri-La Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 That wasn't his dog - it was his girlfriend's dog at the time. I can't remember her name but it was the MTV Japan VJ girl. /creepy stalker comment edit. google tells me her name is Ruri. And that is absolutely his facebook.
GDM Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 I think someone on the forum either (over)heard that in person, or was told it in person. Same goes for that it's Jason's wife's dress. I overheard that from Adrienne, but she didn't really say why he wore the dress, just that it took them two hours to convince him to wear it. And the dress belonged to Jenna White, Jason's wife. And Jason didn't have on a dress. He had a t-shirt with a giant suit and tie image on it. I wrote about the Pinhead show in a link you can find in my signature. I'd forgotten that hair thing . But yeah it was Tanya (t ann) who told us about that, she overheard Adrienne telling her friends about it at the show. Thank you, Hermione!

I think everyone really liked his shoes as well, but I might be confusing that with something else.
Demented or Disturbed Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Does anyone know what year it was when Tre played like a rat does cheese in the radio interview for DC 101?
NothingButYourImagination Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Does anyone know what year it was when Tre played like a rat does cheese in the radio interview for DC 101? 2009
Demented or Disturbed Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 2009 thanks! for some reason I thought it was older than that...
radiofriendlyunitshifter Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Does anybody know what the lyrics to the bridge in Dry Ice are? Some lyric sites show it as "come ease the pain that's in my heart" and others show it as "the means of pain that's in my heart."
pasalaska Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 2009 thanks! for some reason I thought it was older than that... It is older than that. Definately not 2009 because I had it on my iPod during the AI era. The date for it I have on my iTunes is 2001.

pasalaska Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I always sing that bit of Dry Ice as 'hmhmhmhmhmm that's in my heeeeeeeart'
sara_gd Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I have another question related to Wake me up when September ends I found this: "When Billie was at his father's funeral, he started crying, ran home and locked himself in his room. When his mother returned she knocked on the door and Billie simply replied "Wake me up when September ends." It's on Wikipedia, and a few Tumblrs and Facebooks. I don't think it's true, mainly because there's no source or anything... what do you think?
pasalaska Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I've never heard that before. If there's no sources then I'm doubtful.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Hm, if the only sources are wikipedia, facebook and tumblr, I doubt how real it is. It sounds like a cool story someone made up and that spread. And I'm also firing another question at this thread, is this quote real? [billie Joe on Green Day slash fanfiction] "Tre reads the dirty ones. I've read a few. It's flattering and sort of weird at the same time. I don't really know what to think about young girls thinking about old men like that. But the ones I have read were very well-written and as long as kids these days are still being creative and writing, then I think it's cool." I've seen it in a couple of places (mostly tumblr and livejournal, and it's on the bottom of Sullen Riot), but never with a source or anything.

I don't think it's true, mainly because there's no source or anything... what do you think? Urgh. Some wan on Tumblr took that quote off of a lyric meaning site, thought it was true, posted it on Tumblr, got 12,000+ notes and now it's on wikipedia
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I just removed it from Wikipedia. Now let's hope Wikipedia won't ban me or something There was another quote on the same wiki, this: In the live DVD Bullet in a Bible, Billie Joe started crying during the performance of the song. Billie stated, "I tried to fight it, but singing that song on stage and having 60,000 people singing it right back at you, it was just too overwhelming." Any source for that?
pasalaska Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 If it's on Wiki, but not on GDA/GDC, I don't believe it's an actual quote

pasalaska Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 You're right, it's defintely pre 2009 because I had that audio back in 2005 same, it was one of the first non-album GD songs I downloaded. BAHAHA welcome to Green Day.
Isabel Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I've never heard any of those quotes before, I genuinely find the fan-fic one hard to believe. same, it was one of the first non-album GD songs I downloaded. BAHAHA welcome to Green Day. my friends and I used to fall around the place laughing at that song when we were around 17
