Florence Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Why does Billie Joe look 10 years younger than he is?!! Handsome pills and lots of surgery, dude.
E!!i Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 because the war scenes are cheesy and overdramatic and the screaming/crying part in the middle is just silly. ah ok I guess I just like overdramatic scenes Because he is Billie Joe Armstrong. great answer
Satan Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 okay, sorry if this is a (REALLY) stupid question, but what album is JAR on? i know it's on international superhits, but i thought international superhits only introduced maria and poprocks and coke and new songs... not JAR...
EvanAsFuck Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 okay, sorry if this is a (REALLY) stupid question, but what album is JAR on? i know it's on international superhits, but i thought international superhits only introduced maria and poprocks and coke and new songs... not JAR... Nope, JAR was also introduced on International Superhits! It was never released anywhere else...
DecanoLP Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 My question is how do you say Pasalacqua? I say it like pass-a-luh-quaya but I've heard it said a few different ways. Sorry if this has already been asked. 0:39 That's the way Billie pronounces it which should be right One of my favourite Green Day live videos on YouTube by the way.
HeißblütigerPinguin Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 okay, sorry if this is a (REALLY) stupid question, but what album is JAR on? i know it's on international superhits, but i thought international superhits only introduced maria and poprocks and coke and new songs... not JAR... I heard it was a B-Side on one of the Insomniac Singles. EDIT: It was released together with the soundtrack of the movie "Angus"
DecanoLP Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 J.A.R. was featured on the soundtrack for a movie. Don't know which one it was though But I'm pretty sure it was released on its own in 1995 too. Or am I wrong?

Fabiola of Suburbia Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Mike Dirnt for the third time father... His daughter is born last weekend, is that true ?
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 ^ Yep, true. 0:39 That's the way Billie pronounces it which should be right linky-link link! One of my favourite Green Day live videos on YouTube by the way. Soo, pah-sah-LAH-qua, amirite? He says it pretty fast, haha I thought it was pah-SAH-lah-qua, but the man who wrote and named it can hardly be wrong, eh don't think I'm going to chance my way of pronouncing it, though... too used to my own way, haha. Funny by the way how I originally did pronounce it with the 'la' emphasised, and I changed it because of the Rockoff thing, got used to that... now it turns out that my original take at it was right, haha.
Fabiola of Suburbia Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Thank you for the answer! Oh yeah, he says it very fast :D But uhm that was in July 2009 and now is november 2010 ! oO

Guest Honey Emerald Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Does anyone anywhere remember a television show during 1993 that showed Green Day?
insomniactwin Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Hey guys! i dont know if its been asked but the Rusty Wired Hoodies were supposed to be sold at pac sun... on the website it only shows the hand grenade style... im not a huge fan of pink so does any one know if they still sell the other styles?
pasalaska Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Which Blue is the original? The one with the Pansy Division sticker on it? yes, except that sticker is long gone. He used it in the 21CB tour, apart from in South America, so any photos from then will show you Blue now. Hey guys! i dont know if its been asked but the Rusty Wired Hoodies were supposed to be sold at pac sun... on the website it only shows the hand grenade style... im not a huge fan of pink so does any one know if they still sell the other styles? last I heard you could still get all the styles. The rusty website still has all the styles shown. it may just be that the Pacsun online store only has the girl's one in stock at the moment.
Ben I Come Around Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Sorry if this has already been asked, but wasn't there a drummer before Tre Cool? And what happened to that unlucky man who isnt in the best band ever??
Katarina. Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Sorry if this has already been asked, but wasn't there a drummer before Tre Cool? And what happened to that unlucky man who isnt in the best band ever?? Yeah there was. John Kiffmeyer/Al Sobrante was their drummer before Tre Cool. He left the band to go to college. If you wanted to know a bit more, I just copied this from GDA At that time Green Day was starting to get popular, but then a big problem arose. John Kiffmeyer left the band to pursue his education in Arcata, California and the band was left without a drummer. Billie Joe and Mike were never directly told by John that he was leaving. They heard it through a friend who was telling them who was going away to college, and she named John as one of those people. Billie Joe was very angry at John for leaving the band, and they never told him directly that he was being replaced. That was the closest that Green Day has ever come to breaking up. But hope wasn't too hard to find, for Lawence Livermore had his own band where a little kid named Frank Edwin Wright the III played the drums. It was then when Tre Cool joined the band

If you wanted to know a bit more, I just copied this from GDA ah! Thanks! I suppose i should of looked through GDA to start with, but i prefer askin cool people i bet that guy regrets going for education now, i cant think of a job better than green day's drummer....except maybe a superhero...
bat-chen Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 ah! Thanks! A superhero and a green day'a drummer!
JuliaX_Ray2020 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I read that it was one of the 1,039/SOSH's faces, I think he has it in his left arm oh well thanks
RebelofSuburbia Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 ah! Thanks! I suppose i should of looked through GDA to start with, but i prefer askin cool people i bet that guy regrets going for education now, i cant think of a job better than green day's drummer....except maybe a superhero... Well if I remember correctly I read in Nobody Likes You that he doesn't regret it. He's settled down and lives with his wife and kids somewhere in California and he's pretty happy with that. I guess Tré Cool was a better man for the big music industry. And I'm glad he joined so we all could get to know him and enjoy his complete randomness
Velocity Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Yeah there was. John Kiffmeyer/Al Sobrante was their drummer before Tre Cool. He left the band to go to college. But hope wasn't too hard to find, for Lawence Livermore had his own band where a little kid named Frank Edwin Wright the III played the drums. It was then when Tre Cool joined the band When I met Larry Livemore, he said the real reason why John left was because he wasn't able to play the kind of material Mike and Billie were writing. So they needed a better drummer, hence Tre. xD The whole "going to college" thing was probably just a rumor.
jtdscape Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Well if he would have stayed in the band I do not think that Green Day would be the band that they are today.
Hermione Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 ah! Thanks! I suppose i should of looked through GDA to start with, but i prefer askin cool people i bet that guy regrets going for education now, i cant think of a job better than green day's drummer....except maybe a superhero... He was the drummer on their first album and on the four bonus songs at the end of Kerplunk, so he still gets paid whenever anyone buys either of those albums and has the satisfaction of being on them. So he did get a little something out of it
