Eirik Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 "they're guitars, not baseball cards" - Billie Joe Where was that said? IF that was said by said Billie Joe Armstrongith It was said in an interview with Gibson Guitars about his LP Junior signature model. He was talking about how he collects LP Juniors. Part 1 and Part 2
Teenage Kicks! Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Eirik Thank you! And by that he means...he plays em? Not just collecting dust? Or am I reading too much into that?

Izzard Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I heard today that Billie has a youger sister around the same age as his oldest son Joey i don't think its true but i wanted to know if anyone else heard the same rumor? No, it practically impossible for a woman to conceive a child at 66.
BringMoreKnives Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 How rare is the 'Slappy' -EP from 1990? and how much do they usually sell for?

BringMoreKnives Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I'm trying to chalenge greenday to come to my homtiwn If I get a serten amount of folowers on Twitter! Wat does everyone think? Challenge yourself to learn how to type first. ....and Green Day is two words.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I'm trying to chalenge greenday to come to my homtiwn If I get a serten amount of folowers on Twitter! Wat does everyone think? You've asked that several times now and you got answer several times as well. And here's what I think: I think there's not a chance in hell they'll do an extra show just because someone has followers on Twitter. I also think you should seriously read the guidelines, which aren't hard to find at all and which have been linked to you before. I don't mean to be a bitch, but you keep repeating this question and for the rest I've only seen you post random stuff. Which doesn't really give the vibe of "I'm trying to be a member who adds something to the community". *challenge *Green Day *hometown *if *certain *followers *What
LetItBeHappy Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 also, g and h are different letters, even if they're right next to each other. anyways, who played the violin in Good Riddance? I once read Mike had something to do with it, but I've also hear that they called an orchestra and ended up with like 3 violins.
oda Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 who played the violin in Good Riddance? I would but I don't have it right here. If it doesn't then i don't know, sorry.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Hmm, in the booklet it only says "Violin on "Hitchin' a Ride" and "Last Ride In" by Petra Haden" Nothing about Good Riddance Wikipedia also has nothing, except one mention of "orchestra strings", but I doubt that's based on an actual source, because it's said in a sentence that the Brain Stew single version doesn't have a violin.
solongfromthestars Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 How rare is the 'Slappy' -EP from 1990? and how much do they usually sell for? The more recent pressings are quite easy to get hold of, you can get one pretty cheap on ebay, around $10. The older pressing is rarer though, they sell for more like $20 - $30. Then there's the original pressing which is worth around $40 - $50. If you keep a look out for it on ebay one will come around. I hope that helps
Juliette Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Oh seriously, please just fuck off now kthx.

HeißblütigerPinguin Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Didn't it say in Nobody likes you, that Rob Cavallo thought strings would match the song and that the guys should go outside and play soccer while he adds it? I don't know, could be my imagination.
