now would be an excellent time for him wearing a dress, so we could all see his new tattoo xD

Any time would be a good time for him wearing a dress, but yes that would be an added bonus at the moment :D

Too bad he stopped doing that lifting his shirt up thing during KFAD/Shout during this leg of the tour, he did it at every show last year. We need a stalker to take a photo of him next time he's at the beach hehe :shifty:

I'd take the bullet... if I lived nearer, though xD

It starts with "Be silently" and the next word starts with "dr":

People are saying it's, "Be silently drained", but I don't know where they've got the "drained" from - I haven't seen a photo of it. If there is a photo I'd like to see it because I wanna know what it says!

OMG, where was I on GDC when that picture was posted? I totally missed that! Thanks for posting it here. "Be silently.. drained/dreaming/dr.." interesting. I wonder what that line means to Billie.

Well, there's a song called Silent Dream but it's by an Italien Power Metal band so I actually doubt it has anything to do with the tattoo.

Be silently dreaming makes some sense, but I don't see why he would get that tattooed... 'be silently dreaming' kind of sounds like 'dream in silence, don't actually do it, just keep dreaming' to me, which doesn't exactly sound like something he'd get tattooed...

Be silently drained... what  that just sounds weird. It makes sense, but not really someone you'd get tattooed either...

In another picture, it looked like there was an e after the 'dr', but it could have also been an a or an o.

No idea what word it could be, though... be silently dramatic, dreary...doesn't sound likely.

Maybe there is something else after the 'dr' word. It's not in the middle of his chest anyway, so there isn't really a reason why there couldn't be, maybe it's four words.

and thanks for posting that picture, I hadn't seen it before

I'd say "Be silently drunk" but it makes no sense.... xD

Not sure if this is completely on topic, but does anyone know which live cd is is better - Bowling... or Tune in Tokyo? I'm thinking of getting one but I can't choose which.

I haven't heard Bowling but Tune In Tokyo is quite good I though :) .

there is a quote by Rumi that says

"Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love."

maybe it has something to do with that?

They're both good, so I'd say you should check out the traclistings and choose whichever you think looks best. :)

Ok, so the guys that are bringing Green Day to Chile are making short videos everyweek, that tells the story of the band through the years. The one from this week included a section on why did they got that name, and, with the usual story of "they're called Green Day because of the pot", it says that they might have got it by a phrase an old teacher used to tell them: "There might be a green day in hell before you guys do something right once!". Any true in the second statement?

Posted

^ Yeah I've heard that quote about "a green gay in hell" before. I think they must've got asked how they got their name on a kids TV show or something - somewhere it wouldn't have been appropriate to say the real reason, so they made that up instead. Or they just felt like giving a fake reason as a joke.

I can't see any other explanation because I've only heard of them giving that green day in hell reason once.......but I've heard them give the pot reason millions of times

so, in conclusion, they wanted a cool/appropiate version, and they made that one up :ga: thanks, Hermione, you're a life saver!

I don't know for sure, that's just what it looks like to me. I mean, I've never actually seen what interview the green day in hell quote came from so it could be made up for all I know. Someone else might have some more info about it :D

Pretty sure I just read that in Nobody Likes You yesterday or the day before, I'll check back and edit this.

I might have read it somewhere else though, but I definately read it. I'll look.

EDIT: Couldn't find it in the book. It's all over internet bios, but I didn't find any interview stating it as fact.

I suspected of Nobody likes you, specially 'cause I still can't read it. If you do find it, please, let us know :) thanks

What does "a green day in hell" mean?

anyone know the barre chords for redundant?

Question: Where was that live video for American Eulogy filmed? I mean this one.

What does "a green day in hell" mean?

A green day in hell means something that would never happen - there would never be greenery/plants in hell.

So, "There might be a green day in hell before you guys do something right once!", means, "You guys will never do anything right".
