elisa Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 If I'm not wrong he did in Milan, in November And If I'm wrong I have some serious problem, as that's one of the two shows I went to nope, he played the first part alone and then the rest of the band joined him.
Micky Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 nope, he played the first part alone and then the rest of the band joined him. Oh I better shut up
elisa Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Oh I better shut up haha i checked the video dad recorded since i wasn't 100%sure, not going to lie.
TheSaltOfTheEarth Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 In the song, it looks like it just says "Whatsername", actually, I'm pretty sure it does. You can see the tops and bottoms of some letters sticking out of the crossed out, and if you hold it at an angle where the light kind of goes over the letters, you can read it vaguely as well (although that might just be my mind tricking me). I'd like to know what's in the crossed out parts that don't have Whatsername written above them. Same for the thing in September that has "what I lost" written above it. I can figure out some letters, but not a whole word In the tracklisting, it says ..SERMA or ..SERNA (the dots are letters I can't figure out). I think it's supposed to be a misspelt version of "Whatsername". Okay thanks!
Moffie Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 How did "Ho as Hell" get started? By an interesting invention that is known as "The Twitter." Billie Joe escaped from his cave, discovered this and misspelled hot as hell as "ho as hell" in a tweet about Chicago. Giggles from all around the world followed.
lizziebix Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 How did "Ho as Hell" get started? This was Billie's original tweet from Chicago: Thrift store shoppin in chi town.. Its ho as hell! Getting ready for Atlanta!
iwroteholdencaulfield! Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 what's up with this? fake. some songs aren't really greatest hits
Danger! Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 How could I never notice that? xD Yeah, if you burned the copy into the computer, it'll say waba se waca or something like that.
Lu_S Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Second, what on earth is Waba Se Wasca? That question was asked a few months in a different forum and the administrator there said a that few years ago he and some friends discoverd the answer. He would seek to try to find the answer again (he forgot! Seems that this thing is a little old) Well, the information that he has so far, are: - It's an error of studio when they put the information on the music. - This "Waba Se Wasca" is not a person ... A mystery ... for now. As he finds something else, I will notice you guys.
Hermione Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 ^Thanks for the info! I still think an in-joke is more likely than a mistake , but who knows maybe they'll come up with a better explanation.
LetItBeHappy Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 The other day I thought, "I haven't looked at my 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours CD/booklet for ages, I think I'll have a look". I was looking at the 39/Smooth tracklisting on the back of the booklet and I noticed it doesn't just say At The Library, it's says: At The Library with Waba Se Wasca WTF? First of all, after obsessively looking at my Green Day booklets SO many times, how did I never notice this before? Second, what on earth is Waba Se Wasca? THAT WAS THE THING I WANTED TO ASK WHEN THIS WAS FIRST OPENED! XD By an interesting invention that is known as "The Twitter." Billie Joe escaped from his cave, discovered this and misspelled hot as hell as "ho as hell" in a tweet about Chicago. Giggles from all around the world followed. LMFAO. question.. how many opening bands does Green Day usually have? 'Cause apparently we're gonna have 2 in october ._.
st.idiot Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 would green day every consider or think (not actually) changing their name like have they joked about changing their name (i know mike definitely thinks it's a bad name)
Ellenkc Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 question.. how many opening bands does Green Day usually have? 'Cause apparently we're gonna have 2 in october ._. For the Europe tour this year there was two at most gigs, I think one or two of the smaller gigs just had one support act and they only have one for the current American tour. I think it depends on the size of the venue, if its very big they're likely to have two support acts but we don't really know until they're announced would green day every consider or think (not actually) changing their name like have they joked about changing their name (i know mike definitely thinks it's a bad name) Yeah they've all admitted that it's a horrible name but they've been a band for too long to change their name, everyone knows them as Green Day.

SuzieCreamCheese Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 On the "Look For Love" interview - about 40 minutes into it after she asks him what stories he remembers from The Bible she asks, "Why do you want to be a singer?" and he says, "I LOVE IT! - . . . " then I can't make it out then she asks, "Would you like to sing for people in other countries?" and I got that - beautiful - "I love people everywhere!" but what's the part before?

Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 That entire interview is just too sweet. I melt into a puddle of goo every time not even because it's Billie Joe, it's just so goddamn sweet. Although it is cool it's all like "yay you will sing for other people in other countries later! "

Devan Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Can someone tell me why the original Tunny (Matt Caplan) from the musical did not continue onto Broadway? Was it his choice or did they let him go? And who is the new Favorite Son and why did Johua Henry leave? The only thing I ever saw about that was one of Billie's tweets, but I never took the time to look into it...
Tripe Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 A couple of rumors flew about why Matt Caplan did not make the move from the Berkeley Rep to Broadway. Not sure how full of crap they were, but I think the gist of them was that he had a reputation for being hard to work with for whatever reason, so Michael Mayer chose to recast the role. I don't know if the real reason was ever confirmed. Joshua Henry left AI for a role in another musical - The Scottsboro Boys. I think it's hitting Broadway in the next month or two.
