Danger! Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I don't know if this has been asked before but in the beginning of East Jesus Nowhere, theres a Green Day song that plays right ? If yes, which song is it ? The beginning of the song was a real preacher they found while goofing on the radio, Its not a real song.
Zero. Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Actually... I read that the fish died a couple of weeks after they bought it Really? Damn.... Okay maybe not so much of a ninja fish then lol
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I don't know if this has been asked before but in the beginning of East Jesus Nowhere, theres a Green Day song that plays right ? If yes, which song is it ? Nice Guys Finish Last. The thing that sounds like "radise" (to me, at least), is "last" from NGFL. Doesn't really sound like it in EJN, but there was a thread about it that compared the part from EJN with the "last" from NGFL, and it was the same.
LetItBeHappy Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Really? Damn.... Okay maybe not so much of a ninja fish then lol He was more like Aquaman: Useless (or maybe he's like Perry The Platypus from Phineas and Ferb and they sent him somewhere undercover... god, I should stop watching TV with my little cousins) Nice Guys Finish Last. The thing that sounds like "radise" (to me, at least), is "last" from NGFL. Doesn't really sound like it in EJN, but there was a thread about it that compared the part from EJN with the "last" from NGFL, and it was the same. Did not know that
Katarina. Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 ^ Lol, that looks fake. Most likely is as well. There's no way they can release another greatest hits album, since there's only been 2 more since International Superhits. Where did you find the picture?
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Yeah, looks kinda fake... apart from that it just looks fake, they'd probably at least have some new art for a greatest hits album, as opposed to photoshopping a couple of previously released art things together and putting 'greatest hits' in there
Marlon_GD Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 A friend gave me this picture, and I was like... wtf... I'm all up to my nose in Green Day news, and I've missed that? I thought it was fake, but I wanted to make sure thx
LetItBeHappy Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 ^ actually, you can download the "greatest hits". If you check it, there are songs that were never hits, so my guess is that a fan created his own version of a second greatest hits
adnanpunk Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 I wanted to ask, what kind of guitar had Billie Joe give away to this guy who sung Longview in Chicago? It was a Black and White guitar.
bollard_11 Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I wanted to ask, what kind of guitar had Billie Joe give away to this guy who sung Longview in Chicago? It was a Black and White guitar. Its a Fender Telecaster
adnanpunk Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Yeah it is, oh thank you so much!! I've searched 3 days for this guitar!!! Thank you soo much!!
Tubbie Head Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 (or maybe he's like Perry The Platypus from Phineas and Ferb and they sent him somewhere undercover... god, I should stop watching TV with my little cousins) LOL .. I love Phineas and Ferb! Hhahah and I have no shame
bat-chen Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 does billie hate eminem? Maybe he used to dislike him but acording to this he's not.
Nele Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Maybe he used to dislike him but acording to this he's not. Well but he didn't exactly said that he likes his music, I think it was just one of these stories where the magazine adds facts to the actual truth. xD
darenmay Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Maybe he used to dislike him but acording to this he's not. thanks for teh answer and the link! so he actually admires eminem.
mallorymaloney Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 http://www.greendayauthority.com/Picture_Vault/albums/Dec1605/normal_bj11.jpg ^ those railroad tracks are the famous "tracks at christie road", right? also, is there any other pictures of that same exact track? maybe other pictures similar to that one, but without billie? I found several on this guy's personal site --- Granted, he's in the photos instead of Billie, but still, you can still see how awesome the area looks! http://www.mrmullins.big-bear-city.ca.us/ No wonder Billie loved the road so much, it looks like a really peaceful place to hang out. Bonus shot from someone's Flickr gallery! http://www.flickriver.com/photos/gdopiv/3794437548/
LetItBeHappy Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 LOL .. I love Phineas and Ferb! Hhahah and I have no shame Same, but I started watching it because of my cousins xD
Sheehan Rysa Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 The beginning of the song was a real preacher they found while goofing on the radio, Its not a real song. I was talking about the song, not the preacher, but thanks Nice Guys Finish Last. The thing that sounds like "radise" (to me, at least), is "last" from NGFL. Doesn't really sound like it in EJN, but there was a thread about it that compared the part from EJN with the "last" from NGFL, and it was the same. Oh okay thank you
Katarina. Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Who or what is the chickenman? This was posted on the previous page: Chickenman was Gregory Riley. He died in a motorcycle accident. The band Dropkick Murphys knew him and he ment a lot to him, so they made stickers and t-shirts and gave them away.

SuzieCreamCheese Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Is there somewhere you can read the "Look For Love" interview with Billie Joe? I can't make out all of it. Thanks.
