Heather. Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I tried doing a search on the forum but found nothing about this. A 36-minute interview from 1995 on sale at Amazon. Has anybody ever heard of this? The sample clip doesn't tell me much and I'm not sure if it's worth the $8. It sounds interesting and nothing I've heard before... you would think it'd be on youtube or somewhere though... and if someone buys it, it'd be generous for them to put it there
Ritz Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAs26jOu09A I just came across this. Which show?
Requila Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I just came across this. Which show? Vienna, Austria on the 6th of November 2009
green day is Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 http://vocaroo.com/i/s0Z7bvsAZXMG Just randomly played this song earlier, and can't for the life of me remember what it is. I'm pretty sure it's a GD song, though, so I'm posting it here. Anyone know what song it is? Figured it out, it's the solo from Coma White by Marilyn Manson. Y'know, in case anyone was wondering.
green day is Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 How were the Dookie Demos released? Like, I know they were two different demos tapes that were passed around to record companies and given to Warner and what-not, but how did they end up in the public and in the hands of GDA?

I know one was a tape passed around to stores, so obviously someone transferred it and released it somewhere. As for the other one, I have no idea

Liam Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 To stores? It may have been record labels or something, and someone from one just released it
warding_off_regrets Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Is there any place that sells a shirt with the 1039/ SOSH album cover on it? I thought that there was, but my searches have turned up nothing. :/
Katarina. Posted July 19, 2012 Posted July 19, 2012 Is there any place that sells a shirt with the 1039/ SOSH album cover on it? I thought that there was, but my searches have turned up nothing. :/ After searching with "39 smooth t shirt", I could only find this one: http://www.tshirtsubway.com/Green-Day-T-Shirt-39-Smooth.aspx Don't know the site though. And that description.. ugh
green day is Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 It may have been record labels or something, and someone from one just released it I see. What's weird though is that I can't find any articles on GDC about it, and it would have definitely been a pretty big thing. Your avatar's kick-ass, by the way. If I were to open my 21CBD vinyl, would I have a tiny lyric book like what comes with the CD, or would the lyrics be written on the sides of the case or what? It's the regular old vinyl.

green day is Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Thank you And which vinyl version do you have, the 2 or 3 vinyl boxset? No clue, I bought it at my local record/movie/book store. There's nothing special on it or anything, it's just the album.
DoodleBob Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Ugh, indeed. What crap . Thank you very much, though. I'm not sure how open you would be to this, but there's websites where you can design your own tshirt. You could easily design a shirt with the 1039/SOSH album art on it. I know some people only like official tshirts though.
pasalaska Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Re: 1039 Shirt There definitely was a shirt with the album cover on it a few years back when Green Day's offical store was run by Cinderblock - it was bundled with the CD and some badges. I'm sure if you keep an eye on eBay one might pop up from time to time, but as I said that was a few years ago, so they'd be few and far between.
Liam Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 No clue, I bought it at my local record/movie/book store. There's nothing special on it or anything, it's just the album. I'm assuming thats the normal vinyl edition which just has a double sided sheet inside with the lyrics on it

Just opened it, and yeah, that's what it was. But it does have a big version of the puzzle-pieces graffiti (I think it's the one from ¿Little Girl?) on the sleeve, so that's pretty awesome.
green day drunkbunny Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 What are the track lists for dos & tre?
jtdscape Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 What are the track lists for dos & tre? They haven't been released yet.
Todd Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Out of all the pressings or sweet children ep, 1st on black 1st on pink 2nd 3rd 4th on red, Which one is worth the most/ hardest to find? How were the Dookie Demos released? Like, I know they were two different demos tapes that were passed around to record companies and given to Warner and what-not, but how did they end up in the public and in the hands of GDA? On the topic of this, is it possible that there are other dookie demo tapes that havent been released to the public yet?

From my experience I'd say the 1st on pink and 4th on red, although all of them are pretty rare. It's been ages since I did anything with my collection though so things could have changed by now.
