Tripe Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 http://www.greendayauthority.com/Picture_Vault/albums/Dec1605/normal_bj11.jpg ^ those railroad tracks are the famous "tracks at christie road", right? also, is there any other pictures of that same exact track? maybe other pictures similar to that one, but without billie? Did anyone answer this? Anyway, those are supposedly the famous tracks, yes. I have seen several photos of the tracks without a famous rock star on them , but those are personal photos that people have taken when they visited the Bay Area and went on a pilgrimmage of sorts. Try posting a request in the Photo Request thread and maybe someone who has a photo like that will see it.

Tubbie Head Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I have a theory that they weren't happy with the C&V stuff and they got rid of it themselves and then started fresh with American Idiot. Also think that's what happened, every time I see them talking about it in interviews, it looks they're just kidding when they say "the material was stolen from the studio" at least, once, I totally thought Mike was joking about it... Don't remember which interview tho... Hello everyone! jello4president Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Outsider- Warning I thought Outsider was recorded for a Ramones tribute album.... I could be wrong about that though... Hello! i just bought kerplunk and i was wondering if anyone knew whats up with the story in the lyrics booklet "my adventure with green day". it was very amusing to read no doubt i was just wondering if their was a story behind it. I know that it was written by Laurence Livermore. Don't know if there is any story behind the story.
kristinsinferno Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Who is "the rev?" I feel stupid asking but I'd like to know.

According to Billie, the story was amusing, but it was too much, and a huge exageration, and he ended up feeling like if it were a huge joke about themselves

Ellenkc Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I thought Outsider was recorded for a Ramones tribute album.... I could be wrong about that though... It was released on the warning single then got put on the tribute album later
