Is that of sex party true? or it's just a normal secret show and clothes are needed?

Lol yes, Billie really is inviting the world (or at least the LA area) into a public orgy, regardless of gender or age!

... He's just being billie, it's just a secret show but your question made me laugh haha xD

He invited me personally as long as I make it there naked without getting kicked off a plane.

No I'm joking of course. :P I think they'd be arrested if they actually got a load of people to all strip off and have sex. In fact they definitely would after Billie got arrested just for showing his bum once and well, we all know about the saggy pants.

>implying orgies are illegal

As long as it's in private, man. Billie got arrested for showing his ass to people who didn't come to see his ass. If they wanna have an orgy, and people wanna come, ain't nothing wrong with that.

Anyway, anyone know why Billie's counting at the end of Private Ale? Or any guesses?

Is there any reason the secret shows were all played on a Thursday? I don't mean some weird conspiracy bullshit or anything like that, I just wondered if there was a logical reason behind it like albums are always released on a certain day.

Maybe it’s because mid-week not many people go to clubs, so they’re available for shows?

This is kinda random. I was looking at guitars on gibsons website and I was like 'Hey, Billie has a couple signature songs. Lets look' So I searched on the website and found the acoustic guitar I was looking for. The only problem was that the price wasnt there. But heck I want it sooo badly! Anyone know what the price is? Thanks <3

do you mean the Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong J-180? well, it depends on where you buy it, at Thomann it's 2449€, i have no idea how much that'd be in dollar, tho (on the Gibson site it's way more expensive, though (more than 3000€),so better buy it on Thomann or maybe anywhere else)

Definitely a conspiracy theory.

Does anyone else hate that guitar?

I love his signature les paul junior (apart from the rip-off price) but the acoustic is so ugly :P

i actually love it  ...ok, it doesn't look very good when it's day, but it looks amazing on concerts when it's dark and just one spotlight is thrown at the guitar, then it sparkles amazingly  ...and it also sounds amazing, i really wanna have it  ..and yeah the les paul junior is also amazing and i also wanna have that, but first the acoustic one (mainly cos i don't have the money for both now, so i just can have one of them, so i decided to save up money for the acoustic one, i already have a good sounding e-guitar, so i don't really need another one but i really need an acoustic one :P )

In carpe diem, when Billie says "a battle cry", what does he exactly mean?

Does anyone else have Dookie on CD with Ernie on the back? I bought mine about a year ago in a local music store and It has Ernie on it, were they sued in the 90's? how come I have a copy with him on it? Has the CD been lying around since '94..? Surely not! I'm quite confused!

Yeah, I have that copy too, and also the CD is golden. (I don't know why)

I think here in Brazil all copies have Ernie on the back. It's rare to find one without it.

In Poland this is the most popular version and it's made by Warner in German so I think it's the same in whole Europe. You can get it in every music store, if Dookie is avaiable.

The version with Ernie is hard to find because Green Day was threatened with a lawsuit, so they took Ernie off the back cover. I'm guessing your local music store bought it from someone and didn't know its exact value.

They don't make them anymore, but they made lots and lots of them, so they aren't really that rare. I think.

The only place I've ever seen a no-Ernie Dookie is the US. The rest of the world has Ernie still in pride of place.

Carpe diem = 'seize the day'. It's a rallying point, a message to inspire oneself or people around you.

Think of The Lord Of The Rings when King Theoden shouting 'FOR ROHAAAAN' when they charge on the orcs at Minas Tirith.

In an interview from 1994, the journalist says to GD that in Canada they have a brown case, so they are all different, depends of the country
