DoodleBob Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Well I still don't get the question. She was asking if she were to go grocery shopping would some dude go into her closet and take/wear her dresses. It's a pun from King for a Day. (My mother went to the grocery store, went sneaking through her bedroom door, to find something in a size 4) It was a question meant to be a joke.

Undómiel Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Do you think Green Day understand sarcasm? Probably.
Hedwig Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Do you think Green Day understand sarcasm? Ehm. Yes. Everyone does, don't they?
pasalaska Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Ehm. Yes. Everyone does, don't they? Not some people with certain conditions like Autism. But yes, the members of GD understand sarcasm...
classof12 Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Well, maybe this is a little obvious and stupid but the other day I was in my english class and the teacher show us the expression "down in the dumps" that means that you're really sad and I remember the Brain Stew video (which hadn't had much sense to me until that moment) so, my question is, is the dump thing of the video related with the expression? thanks and I'm sorry if I didn't express myself quite well.

What a good expression to describe that video! I don't know if they had that actual expression in mind when they made it or not, but I definitely think they used a dump in the video because it's a miserable kind of place full of useless things which fits with the depressed and hopeless feelings in the song. The song is "down in the dumps" and the video is literally "down in the dumps", so even if they didn't think of it it's the perfect way to describe it.

Hermione Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 for u the final part of churc on sunday is sang so strange (oooooon sunday..) wanted or was an error that became something particular? My friend thought the CD was skipping when she heard that . It's not an error though, they did it like that deliberately. Just to make the song sound interesting/different at the end I guess.
