Who's Tré engaged to now?

I don't actually know, but getting engaged is a big thing, he probably isn't engaged again already.

Well,I recall hearing he was engaged about a month ago

Someone did a screenshot of it and posted it on here as soon as he tweeted it. I've never had his tweets sent to my phone but I remember a lot of people on here having problems with them sometimes not being sent to their phones in the past, so it could be that it just didn't happen to send you that one.

Thanks. That explains it. I do remember I didn't get the one where he wished his mum happy birthday.

Is it still on here ?

That was an awesome answer.Really, that's another reason to hate Justin Bieber and love Billie :)

Nah, Justin Bieber didn't really say that. The stupid Green Day fan just made it up. Billie's answer was still amusing though :D

Did he? wow what an asshole.

Now,how many songs do they usually play in tour concerts? And can you ask for right-hand seats so I can be near Mikey? :)

Just over thirty on the last tour, but who knows with all this new material? and yeah, you can. Arenas are usually divided into blocks so you cant choose pretty much exactly where you sit. Why you’d want to sit down is beyond me though....

How did I not know about that tweet?! That's hilarious. Well said, Billie. :P

Because I'm lazy to be standing for 2h dumby :) (no offense)

Ha, ok... Well I think you should give standing a go. The atmosphere is incredible and the interaction with the band is even better. But to be honest, no matter where you are, a GD show is bound to be pretty damn fucking amazing

"Stand up! Everybody stand up! This is not a fucking Coldplay show!" - Billie Joe

I think you'll find yourself standing up in your seat even if you think you won't

But why is it better to stand up? Won't I get tired? And even see things worse becuase of people's heads being in the middle?

Posted

Well... it's just a lot more fun to stand up. I guess you don't have to, but you might not be able to see if everyone else stands up in their seat.

You'll probably get tired either way if you sing and clap and stuff. I'm always exhausted after a GD show but it's worth it.

nope, i think you'll be so excited and having so much fun that you don't really get the feeling of being tired ;) ...and sitting on a concert isn't as much fun as standing and just jumping around, screaming and simply enjoy everything ;) ...and if you have seat places you could still sit down if you need to ;) ...though i'd recommend standing :D

Yeah, if you get really tired you can always sit down for a bit or lean back on your seat. I was too ill for the pit when I first saw GD so I felt like crap pretty quickly even in the seats, but I just leaned back and rested for a bit. You'll be fine! :)

I'm not sure if I'm completely making this up or if I dreamt about it or something, but I vaguely remember possibly reading an article about Billie's ex girlfriend (Amanda) the one that moved to Ecuador or whatever. Anyway, I remember in the article she talked about moving to Ecuador and all of a sudden she was in the middle of a place with barely any electricity and she heard Dookie on the radio and she was saying how she couldn't get away from them or something. Does this sound familiar to anyone, if so, is there a link anywhere? If not, there's a good chance I'm completely making this up, lol, can anyone verify? Thanks!

I've always thought that Billie wrote Why Do You Want Him about his mom and her new husband.. and Billie said so in some interview too. But some year ago someone told me that the song is about something else.. does anyone know what it's about? :)

In the 92Y Interview with Jordan Roth and Michael Mayer, Jordan Roth asks him about the song and he said it's not true that it's about his mom and her new husband. He said it was about wanting to be with someone and them wanting to be with someone else, and then he sang the Beatles "You're gonna lose that girl, you're gonna lose that girl."

I think I recall something like that.

I read that exact story in the book "Nobody Likes You," although I can't remember if it was about Amanda or not. That book must have been where you read it. :)

Oh really? I'm just affraid of the fact of being surrounded by a looot of people and not being able to sit down being frustrating if I went for cheapest and bought pit tickets.

I've definitely heard the story, too. :)

The girl who moved to the place without electricity wasn't Amanda, it was a girl called Arica. Only reason I know that is because I saw it on Twitter the other day, haha. She went to Nicaragua.

Amanda did move to Ecuador, but (sorry I don't have the link) I remember desertrose posted an interview where Billie said that it was for school or something.

I always laugh at the idea that she just up and "moved to Ecuador"... a lot of American college students (especially at schools like Berkeley, which I'm assuming is where she was) study abroad their junior year for a semester or two. Pretty sure that would be why she was going to Ecuador.
