Thank you. I was just curious because I've been kind of obsessed with this song lately.
Elena Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Does anyone know if Green Day has ever played Haushinka live? And if so, is there a video of them performing it? I found a video on Youtube that claimed it was Haushinka, but it looked more like someone had taken a video of them playing another song and put the Haushinka music in as background music. you meant this, right? : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-BA2T5u1dg the sound could be a live version, but it really doesn't fit to the vid, so i think the sound was added afterwards and it's probably froma whole different gig
E!!i Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Is this fake or not? Sorry that I don't reply to a question with this but I love Billie's handwriting
ThibautDookie Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I heard that Green Day should have done a video for the song Prosthetic Head but then didn't do it. I don't why. Does anybody know if there is a actual video for it or it doesn't exist ?

Does anybody know if there is a actual video for it or it doesn't exist ? Yeah there's Nimrod era interviews where they were saying it was gonna be the next song they'd make a video for. They never did though, I guess they just changed their minds about which song to release.

Hermione Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Where can i find those interviews ? That's a trickier one . I know one of the times they talked about it was in one of the radio interviews they did when Nimrod came out. I'll find out which one it was when I get a chance. Where can i find those interviews ? Thought I'd quickly see if I could find out by googling it and I was successful. It was in the Modern Rock Live radio interview they did in 1997. At 0:45 - Btw that's just part 5 of the interview but I HIGHLY recommend searching the other parts on youtube and listening to the whole thing, it's hilarious.

Thanks, what a shame that they didn't do it, i would have prefered that they did a video for Prosthetic Head instead of Redundant.
DannyDirnt Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 And I was wondering. If Hausinka is from Nimrod (1997),how can there be performances from 1991 and 1992?
Hedwig Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 And I was wondering. If Hausinka is from Nimrod (1997),how can there be performances from 1991 and 1992? It was written earlier, for Dookie I think, but they thought it didn't fit on the album and simply didn't put it on an album 'til Nimrod. The end.
classof12 Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 When did Jason White join the band? because I thought it was during the AI era but I was watching Live Without Warning and I think I saw him.

Haushinka was written around Kerplunk time. There's three demos of it on Dookie Demos (recorded in 1993) too, pretty cool and interesting to hear it in it's early form:

I love the Haushinka demos, maybe even more than the album version.

ThibautDookie Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 What ever happened to the Bookmobile ? Where is it now ?
alaniluau Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 What ever happened to the Bookmobile ? Where is it now ? It's parked up at the place of Tre's dad, who, as we know, was involved in securing the Bookmobile for the boys' use.
HeißblütigerPinguin Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Who here as an Idiot Club membership? I'm dying of curiosity for the interview
lizziebix Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Who here as an Idiot Club membership? I'm dying of curiosity for the interview Me too. At least a summary of what was asked and answered would be nice. Don't need the exact wording.
It's Splash Time Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Who here as an Idiot Club membership? I'm dying of curiosity for the interview I suggest searching tumblr for Adrienne Armstrong not that I would do that
