Bill is day to day tour manager. he isn`t the one who organises the actual tour (i.e. venues and hotels and what not). he just makes sure Billie doesn`t run out of eye liner or hair gel :P

he did tell me who does that but buggered if I can remember his name. oops.

I see.. I've never been to a Green Day concert too, but like you I wanna attend as many concerts as possible on their next tour

good luck that you can do that !! ;)

Bahahaha. That must be a pretty tough calling... :P

But Bill was there when Billie was doing the broadway show too. He almost seems like a bodyguard.

Doug Goodman, isn't it? At least he is the one listed as 'tour manager' in the BIAB credits etc., if my memory is not completely off. :)

Is this transcription real? http://www.angelfire.com/sk/strangeland/interviewmtv.html

If so, when did the Idiot Club begin? Cause they're talking about it on this interview that's aparently from the Nimrdod era, and I thought the Idiot Club started during American Idiot.

The idiot club actually started in like 1994, so it actually has no relevance to American Idiot xD I think it was called the All Ages club for a while then switched back to the Idiot club when AI came out

I'm pretty certain that's real, I've heard a lot of quotes from there before and it all sounds legit. Thanks for posting btw, I enjoyed reading it!

It began in Dookie times, check out this Idiot Club Newsletter from 1994. I think they stopped calling it the Idiot Club at some point after Dookie and just called it the Green Day Fanclub or something instead, anyone else know more about that? They relaunched it as an online fanclub and brought back the Idiot Club name with American Idiot though (as you can see from that old newsletter it used to be very different).

Edit: Just seen Lorraine's post. So yeah, that.

Their first EP was 1000 Hours and it was released in April 1989. So Billie was 17 and Mike was nearly 17, and John was 19. It was recorded in 1988 when Billie and Mike were 16 though.

All this kind of info's on Wikipedia:

What happened between Billie and Noel Gallagher??

Posted

Nothing especially as far I'm aware. It's just Noel Gallagher being Noel Gallagher... aka a dick.

Is there a video that this picture came from?
