Well for starters this is the type of question for the downloads section. Also the quality isn't very good anyway, one of the worst recordings out there. If you really want it you can try requesting a seed on GDTorrent as our download links are currently down :/

Does any of you remember a b&w pic with Mike standing on the right side and a text written by Billie on the left where he says something about a shoe fetish and also comments about Mike reading the schedule? If so, can you tell me where it comes from?

I've got the pic, there's a load of others that go with it too. I think it's a tour program that came out when American Idiot first came out but I'm not certain, could someone confirm that? I know there's at least one thread about it on here too but I can't find it. Here's the pic anyway

And the rest (they're in reverse order here so start at the end)

Thank you so much,Hermione! I'd never seen those before, didn't even know that they existed.

Btw, is this Tré's handwriting on pic 17? Very artsy and hard to read!

Yep they're from the American Idiot tour program :)

You're welcome! I'm not sure if it's Tre's or Mike's. Tre's is very messy:

But Mike's is more angular like that and he's always writing x's. I think it's Mike writing sloppily. Although I'm not exactly a handwriting expert

Yep they're from the American Idiot tour program :)

Thanks! I always get them confused with the AI special edition booklet so I wasn't sure.

I pretty much found the answer to my question on the previous page about them not being at the 95 Grammys. You can skip to 4:36 of this video when they're announcing the nominees for Best New Artist and Green Day isn't there.

it's kinda funny to see a vid of them being nomineed for "Best New Artist"

Why is this unpinned?

Why is this unpinned?

The reason for that should be the same for the now unpinned Green Day Random News thread. No idea what that is though. These threads should be pinned imo.

I agree... especially news. But this one too.

Because they're active threads that are always on the home page anyway. I just didn't think they needed to be pinned anymore. It makes more sense for us to be pinning things we really want them to pay attention to, and not keeping permanent threads pinned.

Hey, Guys... I've read a short story about Green Day and a girl... Laurie L, or something like that. It was pretty crazy. :)

Do you guys now who wrote this? And why? :D Or what do we know about this?

It's called 'My Adventure With Green Day'. It was written by Larry Livermore (the founder of Lookout Records which was Green Day's record label at the time) for a punk zine called Tales Of Blarg!. Then when Kerplunk was released they put it in the album booklet (if you buy the Kerplunk CD you'll see it in there). The girl's called Laurie L as a reference to the author Larry Livermore/Larry L. Very funny story

awesome, thanks

You're welcome! Remember to remove videos from posts when you quote them though

I first read that story when I was like 10 and I thought it was true for like two years haha...

Thank you! :) I read about it a long time ago, by some reason i thought it was written by John Kiffmeyer... So it was Larry. :)

I thought it's in the Kerplunk booklet, that's the only album i don't own in original. Yet. :)

This may be a really stupid question... Is Billie Joe really related to Tim Armstrong? I know he tweeted something about it but..

No I don't think they are, closely at least.

BJ has said that they aren't. I guess Tim just likes to joke about it. :)
