(Like he usually starts American Idiot off, but then Jason takes over?) Does he do most/all of the Dookie song leads? I have trouble getting this straight. Doesn't he do the lead on the songs that only ever had one guitar part? Him and Jason seem to play the same parts on those songs.

F.e. like you said, he starts American Idiot and then Jason takes over and then at the solo Billie takes over again. And yes he dos the leads for Dookie songs. For all the songs that were written before "the jasons" joined, he plays lead

That would be the most amazing thing ever. The old songs sounded so great on the last tour, especially with Tre on the drums. He plays the shit out of the 1039/Smooth songs....

I haven't seen any pictures or videos of the guys with a joint (there's even a video from 1991 where Billie declines a cigarette or joint, not sure what it was), but it's hard to imagine that they haven't smoked it at least once at some point. Dunno, Billie said that he quit drugs because of his sons (forgot when, but he said it before or around the AI era) and I'd imagine it's the same for Mike and Tre, you never know about a bit of pot sneaking in though, haha.

That's probably not what you meant though. Yeah he declines a cigarette and says he doesn't smoke (cigarettes). So I think he didn't start smoking cigarettes until he was in his 20s although obviously he was smoking weed long before that. Maybe he cut down on the weed and took up cigarettes as a replacement. I'd be very surprised if any of them didn't still smoke weed from time to time.

I'm sure it's not a daily thing, but the way they still refer to it often and in sort-of present tense makes it pretty obvious that they still smoke weed often enough.
