Heather. Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Here's a question for GDA: Why are the lyrics to Jinx as follows? :help: "Or you will be darned to spend your life in heck" http://www.greendayauthority.com/music/song/75/ Egregious and hilarious oversight? I love it.
pasalaska Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Some of the lyrics on GDA need reviewing... I've noticed a few errors and whatnot too.
farley drexel hatcher Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 This is a long shot, but does anyone remember a video from the 2009 tour, I think it was at a show in Florida, where Billie's talking about a girl he met before the show, and how she took a photo with him and she said she looked ugly in it, then he spotted her in the audience and said she looked beautiful? It was really sweet and i'd love to watch it again.

Katarina. Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 what are some bands/artists that have covered green day songs? The only ones I can think of now is taylor swift who covered Good Riddance, and New Found Glory. They covered quite a few GD songs, a video of their Basket Case cover is on GDA. And this I had to
Stormy Haze Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 what are some bands/artists that have covered green day songs? all i have is: avril - basket case, american idiot fall out boy - basket case all time low - brain stew I remember Florence (plus another artist I think) covered Nimrod...
Hermione Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 ^Yeah, there's a load of her Nimrod covers on youtube. It was her and another artist, I assume he did the music since she was singing. Weezer covered Worry Rock on an album of other bands covering Green Day (none of the other bands were well known though). And a bluegrass/country band called Hayseed Dixie covered Holiday, they released it as a single and even played it on Top Of The Pops. Iyaz covered 21 Guns not long ago. I think there's probably loads more too. Edit: How could I forget THIS
green day is Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 AFI did American Idiot and Brain Stew. Weezer did Brain Stew. Rancid did Good Riddance.
Liam Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 AFI did American Idiot and Brain Stew. Weezer did Brain Stew. Rancid did Good Riddance. Weezer also did "Worry Rock"
green day is Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Weezer also did "Worry Rock" I know, but it was already mentioned.
Heather. Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 OMG @ that Gregorian video. "Read between the lines God is one and everything's all right." Can we call this blasphemy?
Murrell_T_A Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Rumors have gone around that Green Day might re-record 1039/Smooth and Kerplunk! what does everyone think?
Katarina. Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Rumors have gone around that Green Day might re-record 1039/Smooth and Kerplunk! what does everyone think? I don't believe it. Why would they re-record those? 39/Smooth and Kerplunk are awesome records the way they are now. If they played songs on those records live more often, now that would be really great
Fuzz Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Rumors have gone around that Green Day might re-record 1039/Smooth and Kerplunk! what does everyone think? Rumors going around where?
Liam Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Thats actually quite funny because me and Emilie (emirsan) were talking in a PM a few nights ago how awesome it would be if they rerecorded those 2 album. I hope its true but I doubt it
green day is Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Just remembered that some guy from American Idol covered Good Riddance. He was the winner from last season or something like that.
Satan Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Thanks for the answers everyone! www.youtube.com/watch?v=0M1rPJFrDEM what the fuck is this shit?
Heather. Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 So... what songs does Billie Joe still play lead guitar on live? Or are there specific parts of songs? (Like he usually starts American Idiot off, but then Jason takes over?) Does he do most/all of the Dookie song leads? I have trouble getting this straight.
