solongfromthestars Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Just scanning through ebay (as I do when I'm bored) when I came across this - it's a 2008 edition of Dookie with the CD made from some sort of special high-grade plastic that improves the sound quality when played. Has anyone got this/heard of it? I'd love to know how the sound quality differs from the regular CD. I think that was the CD that was released in Japan only for a Dookie anniversary. I'm pretty sure I have it somewhere but I don't think I've ever listened to it. I had a similar Sum 41 CD though and the sound quality didn't seem any different to the regular CDs (or maybe I just have bad ears, lol). There was something back in the day about re-releasing all of Green Day's albums like that in Japan but I don't know if it ever happened.

I heard they just got married in the last year or so. And, at 7:54, OF COURSE, that is the one and only "I come in early" Tony and his brother Carl. Tony is greendaytone here on GDC and actively involved with GDA. Thanks for linking that...it's been awhile since I watched it and I forgot how much I enjoy it. Tony, I wub your contribution to this more every time I see it.
