The Manchester gig was all General Admission tickets, however there was some seating that was unassigned, for people that didn't want to stand

Awesome, thanks for the answer! :)

Where was the American Idiot video filmed?

Where was the American Idiot video filmed?

I think it's in some kind of warehouse.

It tells you exactly where in this video:

Wasn't it a hangar? I haven't watched the video (well, I have at some point, but now now) but I seem to recall it was a hangar... not sure though.

I want to know too, if someone watches the video, please tell in here

AI Music Video was shot in a hangar at Los Angeles Airport.

Was Private Ale ever played live at 21st CB or AI tour?

They played it live only twice, back in 1991. And he didn't even do the famous "scream" .-.

They played it at a couple of soundchecks during the 21st CB tour. Don't think there's any recordings of it though.

Private Ale was played at the Manchester sound check in 2010.

It took us a moment to figure out what song it was

:o Brilliant! Had no idea there was a recording. I love you for posting this!

Awesome, thanks! :woot:

And thanks to everyone else too :)

Oh my God thanks a lot for posting this! I never found something THIS recent :)

But there's not the scream even in this one T-T

Is there any proof about when the boys' contract with Reprise ends/ended? I've heard a few theories, but never actually seen sources.

Just scanning through ebay (as I do when I'm bored) when I came across this - it's a 2008 edition of Dookie with the CD made from some sort of special high-grade plastic that improves the sound quality when played.

Has anyone got this/heard of it? I'd love to know how the sound quality differs from the regular CD.

I saw this one interview and they were talking about they don't want to be one of those bands with crazy guitar solo, and Mike says something like "oh here comes the guitar solo" and I can't find it.

Did we ever hear anything about Tre Cool marrying Dena (what's her last name, btw?)? There was news about them getting engaged some time ago on GDA, but I think never about the actual marriage.

(Can I even ask this or is that too personal?)

I assume that when they get married they won't announce it or anything and they'll keep it private, but we'll probably hear that it happened somehow or other. If they do decide to announce anything about it it'll get posted on GDA though.

Does anyone of you still have the fake setlist that surfaced after the Lollapalooza gig (?) last year? It had written "forget the lyrics" besides She's A Rebel and stuff like that...

What's that ? Like he planned to forget the lyrics? (Because as I recall he *did* 'forget the lyrics' during some performance of She's a Rebel)... but it was fake?

Yeah, the setlist was fake. It had written things besides it like forget the lyrics, but the whole setlist was fake (so the forgetting the lyrics wasn't fake).

I went looking for it, it was posted in the Lolla thread:
