jamesobxfan2296 Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Billie's "brother" Neil Armstrong. It was Jason White. Oh really? I thought I heard at the show in Chula Vista, CA that Billie said something like "My uncle Mr. Neil Armstrong".
Jaymee!! Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Oh really? I thought I heard at the show in Chula Vista, CA that Billie said something like "My uncle Mr. Neil Armstrong". No it was definitely Whitey...obviously that's just Billie's play on their shared last name, thought there is no relation between either of them (obviously).
Hermione Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 No it was definitely Whitey...obviously that's just Billie's play on their shared last name, thought there is no relation between either of them (obviously). He's just saying he called him his "uncle" not his "brother". Which is correct, my mistake. The thing that amuses me is in this old video Billie said his surname was Armstrong and joked that his grandfather was the first man to walk on the moon. Obviously he's found that idea funny for a long time
pasalaska Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 In te bottom left of the 21st Century Breakdown artwork, there is this thing and I don't know what it is. Too me it looks like a 13, a B or half a butterfly (probably not that), 13 seems likely to me for Class of 13. Anyone know what it is and what it means? 99% sure it's a 13 Have you guys seen the vh1 behind the music? (off course you have) Who is that other fellow in the backround playing the guitar at some point? I don't think i've seen him before. During St. Jimmy? That would be Mike Pelino, I think. He's also in BIAB.
BJA TC MD Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Does anyone know any quotes/lyrics that have something to do with beginnings or endings?
Mary711 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Does anyone know any quotes/lyrics that have something to do with beginnings or endings? It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I hope I won't be there in the end when you come around. She's taking off. Kind of has to do both with beginnings and endings, though it might be too vague for what you need.

Disapperingirl Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Does anyone know any quotes/lyrics that have something to do with beginnings or endings? They already answered you, but if you want something more... -I got a new start on a dead end road -Why should my fun have to end? For me it's only the beginning -Today is the first day of the rest of our lives, tomorrow is too late to pretend everything's alright -Dawning of a new era, calling, don't let it catch you falling -As the days go on I wonder will this ever end If these are helpful...
whatserbmae Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Does Adeline Clothing exist anymore? Well, there's Adeline Apparel http://store.adeline...adeline-apparel https://www.facebook.../adelineapparel
intoxi-tre-ted Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Does Adeline Clothing exist anymore? yes, yes it still does! i've been wanting to buy a few of their shirts!
Hermione Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I know Adeline Clothing closed down a while ago, don't know the details but it definitely did. Now they just have a section of Adeline Records that sells merch/clothes called Adeline Apparel instead.

Hermione Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Do you know the reason why it was been closed? I think it just wasn't doing well enough so they closed it. It got announced and discussed on GDA/GDC when it happened, gonna try and find the thread.
pasalaska Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Do you know the reason why it was been closed? I believe it was to do with Adie and Billie not being able to focus enough time on the label, though I could be wrong
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I think they're now just selling what's left over, the closing down thing probably was just that they stopped producing and designing new things.
pasalaska Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Adeline Records is still manufacturing Adeline Apparel, which is merchandise for the record label. Adeline Street, which was Billie and Adie's clothing line, has been discontinued since November 2008, article here.
Hermione Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Found the post about it on GDA, it was actually called Adeline Street not Adeline Clothing and it closed in 2008: http://www.greendaya....com/news/1580/ Edit: Too late
AnnaMon07 Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Hey I was wondering if anyone knew whether the audio of Adrienne being interviewed about Atomic Garden and knitting and things was stilll around? If you know what I mean
LaLaLa. Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Hey. So I'm not on here that regularly but I've been craving some new GD for so long. Is there anything about any release dates for new stuff at all? Or any news of them working on something?
pasalaska Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 nothing's changed. We're all still waiting patiently for news and updates.
Katarina. Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Question about lyrics in JOS: Billie Joe always sings "It's beating out of time" live, but in the booklet it says "We're beating out of time." I never use the second option, but I was just wondering which one is actually right.. When in doubt I just have to ask it here

When in doubt I just have to ask it here I hear "it's beating" too, which makes sense because Billie Joe talks about "one's heart". Plus, it wouldn't be the first mistake in a booklet!
