Thank you very very much!

On a related note, is there an actual booklet in the regular vinyl or are all the lyrics printed on the sides? And if there's an actual booklet, is it the size of the sleeve?

All the lyrics are printed on the sides.

What does Billie Joe's "PUNX" tattoo on his waist and between his index finger and thumb mean or stand for? And also, does the red and black star on his wrist mean anything?

As far as I'm aware, it doesn't stand for anything. A lot of people in the punk sub-culture talk about 'The Punx' rather than 'Punks'. I don't really get why, but whatever floats your boat. I think it's safe to say it's just a reference to Billie's Punk roots.

And I'm not sure about the star. I do know, however, that it wasn't always red - it used to be just a black outline. Not sure when it got filled in red but I've seen old pictures where it's not filled in. I hope there's no deep and personal meaning, because I have the same tattoo.

Awesome, thank you! I'm thinking about getting those tattoos in the same spots as him and wanted to know if it meant anything important. Thanks again!! :)

I'm not sure if any of you guys have seen it, but there is this article that says that Taylor Lautner is interested in playing the Jesus of Suburbia in the AI movie.

Article: http://www.hollywoodlife.com/2011/07/14/taylor-lautner-american-idiot-movie-casting/

It seems like it's just a rumor, but I really hope it DOESN'T happen. I personally think that Lautner being JOS would ruin the character for me.

Just wanted to share that ^.^

Rumor rumor rumor.

Also, I have no opinion on whether or not he'd be good for the role. Haven't seen any of his work, nor do I know how capable he is an actor.

Has misery ever been played live? Does anyone know which songs have never been played live before? I mean songs that have been recorded but not played live.

I don't know how much truth there is in this (I have my very large sceptical hat on) but while we were in line at Chula Vista, we had to endure DJ Rosstar go on and on about all the 'rare' songs he'd seen live, and how the one song he wants to see is Android because it's the only song that has never been played live (it actually has, at the Manchester soundcheck we were at, and we have video to proove it), and he flatly refused to believe it.

I mean, there's all those B-side songs that have never been played, as far as I'm aware.

"Are you sure you're not thinking of the song Green Day?"

NO. ASSHOLE. I KNOW MY GREEN DAY THANKS.

Acording to SetlistFM they played at the soundcheck for the Milton Keynes concert in 2005:

, in the Fuse program in 2005, in Sacramento in 2009 and in Costa Rica in 2010 (What didn't they play in that concert!?? )

http://www.setlist.fm/stats/songs/green-day-13d68939.html?song=Misery

There's a Green Day song statistic in the column where it says the number of times they played each song. Espionage is the only one I can think of that is not there or in Youtube.

^Okay thanks for the answer, guys :)

Every B-side except Shoplifter at a soundcheck, Outsider before it was recorded, and apparently Suffocate (though there's no recording). Also Panic Song, though they play the intro between Brain Stew and Jaded sometimes.

I probably missed some B-sides that have been done.

It was played at the Las Vegas soundcheck in 2009.

The rest I think was answered already. Though, I'm sure they never played Sassafras Roots either.

When I received the Network vinyl and shirt, Adeline Records always sends stickers and stuff like that with it as well. This time I got a card with "coming 2011" on it, with albums like Awesome as Fuck and Griller. Now, what I was wondering, is that it also says "Warning: 11th anniversary". Could that mean there will be another vinyl (different color maybe) of Warning later this year? Hmmm :sherlock: Does anyone know more about this?

Maybe they are taking about how they are rereleasing the Minority vinyls too? It would be cool to see Warning on a different color though as well.

The 11th anniversary might have something to do with it but on the card it actually says "Warning: 11th anniversary" and has a picture of Warning so I'm sure it will probably be a new colour

Does anyone know the meaning behind the song "Cigarettes and Valentines"? I've had some speculation as to the message in the song but I'd like to know what it means.

Thanks!

It's about Adie. Billie said so.

I like how you demand sources for information that other people give out, but you just write 6 rather blunt words and deem that sufficient

I only ask for a source if I care to know where it was said or I don't believe it. If I were asked where he said it, I would have referenced the Twitter post.

Ever since 21st Century Breakdown came out, the phrase "Class of 13" has been mentioned a lot. What is this supposed to mean? It's in a lot of 21st CB songs.
