It's on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNCzK_ksReg :)

I remember when I first heard it in February '09 or something, and played it the whole day on repeat. haha

A short preview of it came up on a Brazilian fan site and some forum. Then the full song was leaked shortly after by whoever had the originals.

Thanks, too bad GDA wasn't the first to get it, that would be good publicity :)

GDA got the post publicity from posting it, that much that Andres even got a call to take it down (there's actually a bit more to the story)

I just saw this vid and Billie says "this song is for Deryck from sum 41" and plays sweet child o mine. (go to 1:17)

Does anyone knows why he dedicated it to him?

I'm not 100% sure, but it may have something to do with that Deryck got attacked in a bar in Japan and got two slipped discs around that time.

Because he was at the show in Montreal with the rest of us who were there, nothing special.

Really? If so, why am I only learning this now?

Haha, yeah really!

Did he wait in line with you guys or did he have early entry?

Or was he backstage?

OKay, I just bought an Ibanez TS9 pedal, and I decided to tool around and see what famous musicians have used it, and the Wikipedia page for the pedal says that Billie uses it. That can't be true, right? That one video on YouTube where they take a tour of Billie's rig said the only pedal he has is a Blues Driver, and even then it's just for random accented parts. Maybe they mean that Billie HAS used a TS9 in the past? Does anyone know if this is true?

Yes, Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 waited in line with us for Green Day in Montreal.

...Git oot Lina of course he didn't, he had his own way in at whatever time he wanted! As is the case 95% of the time in those situations. It'd be easier if the show hadn't been all GA, but I'm sure he was backstage as well as out in the pit. But he was definitely there, having a blast with the rest of us.

I am so naive, lmao.

& Well, that's fun to know. Knowing I was in the same square mile as Deryck Whibley. :woot:

I am looking for a mock interview that contained poetry by Billie Joe Armstrong. It might be on VHS.

It aired in either 1992 or 1993.

The interview had a phone number in marquee at the bottom of the screen. This might help to identify it.

The interview also contained musical performances by Billie Joe Armstrong alone on the stage and it had one hell of a punch line.

Due to not having the title of the video... it is not able to be located in the United States Library of Congress. I have also been searching among other forums and youtube.com for the past 6 years or so. Will you please help get this video to surface?

I would also like to know about this, because I have seen a video where Billie reads poetry, but that's all that I remember from it. Is that he read a poem or two that he wrote.

That would be the one if it talked about the palm of a hand and his washing machine. The palm one was really long and I want to be able to cite it.

I really like the fact that he was there. Don't know why, but I think it's great

That's a very well-known one. Because I'm stupid and don't know these things (and also because I can't check my copy right now) I don't know if it's an official one for sure, but I think it's a bootleg. Also seeing as it's all footage from 1999, but the pictures on the front are all AI era. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know much about these things, what's offical and what isn't

I'd say it's worth buying, I liked it, and 11 pounds is a decent prize I'd say (although I've seen it much cheaper on sites like Ebay).

Thank you :D i think i might buy it, and yeah the AI era picture with footage from '99 is what made me think that it was bootleg and had doubts about how good it might be, but £11 is an awesome price so i think ima get it :D thank you for your help :D
