green day is Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Several magazines that mentioned Drama Queen on the tracklist, and other magazines saying Murder City was added last minute. Example of Drama Queen in tracklist: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/204/qpage6.png That's pretty cool. Thanks. Source? Nobody Likes You (the book, I'm not insulting you).
jtdscape Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Nobody Likes You (the book, I'm not insulting you). Hah, but when Larry himself posts on his blog that he did not give him the Tre part of the name I think that we can safely assume that that he didn't.

WestboundSign! Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 As I know it is, yes. And you can buy it here in Germany nearly everywhere. I saw it in "Saturn" really often
La's Letterbomb Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Where did Billie and Aidie get married? Billies said in his backyard but i read a biography and they said they got married in a fancy hotel with their familys near where they live? Did they have two blessings?...Just curious!
pasalaska Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I found this the other day at my local JB Hi-Fi It's a book and DVDs on GD's history and album reviews and the like. Has anyone got it? I'm curious as to what the book's like (I'm not expecting greatness here, I was just surprised to find it and that sparked my interest) It's on a number of on-line stores but I didn't see any fan reviews. Where did Billie and Aidie get married? Billies said in his backyard but i read a biography and they said they got married in a fancy hotel with their familys near where they live? Did they have two blessings?...Just curious! They got married in Billie's backyard and had their honeymoon at the Claremont hotel which is near Oakland.
PunkRocks and Coke Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 on "Misery" what does he mean by "She had a compound fracture in the trunk"
Guest Honey Emerald Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 on "Misery" what does he mean by "She had a compound fracture in the trunk" just what the song says: she hitched a ride and then she ended up in a trunk with a compound fracture. The entire song is about people doing stuff and bad things happening to them because of it.

Mary711 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 What exactly goes down if you happen to win early entry through idiot club? They'll post a list of the winners and everybody who won can take another person with them. At the venue, you'll meet the other winners which is pretty easy, because they're the only ones not lining up. Then it was said that we're allowed to go in an hour earlier by using the press entrance, but at our show it wasn't that well organized so that we searched a little for the right entrance and person to let us in. They had a list with the winners there and we got a number on our hands. After that, we were allowed to go in and that was around 15 minutes before the others. I hope that helped
green day is Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 There's the recurring sound of a telegraph throughout 21st Century Breakdown, and I was wondering if it actually said anything. At the end of LOTAG and beginning of Murder City, it sounds like it's just following a rhythm and not actually saying anything, but I've noticed that in Rockband, not only is there no telegraph at the end of LOTAG, but it's completely different in Murder City than the one on the album. Later, a telegraph that's barely audible through the music is heard in American Eulogy, and again at the end, during barely audible static. When you listen to the "Additional Instruments" portion of the multi-tracks, however, you can hear it quite clearly. I've taken the liberty of putting them all into one .WAV file so that anyone who knows Morse Code (that's what telegraphs used, right?) can easily hear it. Each are separated by two-second gaps. The first one is the Rockband version of Murder City and the second and third ones are the American Eulogy ones. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OHJFSGWD Don't let me down, GDC. Also, on a semi-related note, the Spanish part at the beginning of EJN say "La Ultima Noche", which means "The Last Night". Just thought I'd let you know.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 The thing in American Eulogy does mean something, someone figured it out a while ago, but I forgot what it was. It was something quite obvious and related to the album, though, from what I remember (think along the lines of "mass hysteria" or something like that). /not helpful

There were two from American Eulogy. It is too helpful.
pasalaska Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I really can't be fucked downloading that track, but the beeps at the end of the album version of LOTAG are: dot dash, dot dash dash which is 'A, W, A, W' so that's nothing of interest as far as I can tell... as was said earlier, it's just following the rhythm I would listen to the tracks if they were streaming, but yeah. Have fun working it out.

I still want to know which part it was and what the other part says, though, because there's two instances of telegraph sounds in American Eulogy. http://www.greendaycommunity.org/index.php?showtopic=72735&st=3930 Google brought me here, and the second poster on this page also says it, and says that it's the one at the end of American Eulogy.
jtdscape Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 My dad knows morris code and he said that the first one is just someone playing with the toggle switch on a guitar and the second is "We are the Class of '13" and the second is the same as the first only sped up.

I'm pretty sure that's it, yeah. That phrase was the only thing I remembered of what it might have been, but I wasn't sure at all so I didn't post it. I have no idea what part it was though, but if two sources say it's the one at the end, then I guess it's that one. Anyway, I just found a/the post that talks about AE and indeed that it says Class of 13, here.

Jaymee!! Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 That was some in-depth album dissecting. Good work you guys, really! Nothing even close to that thought would've ever crossed my mind in a million years.
