miragots Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Considering his mum still lives there, that would be creepy as hell. Oh man I had no clue. I thought they sold it. I was just gonna drive by it if possible.
LaLaLa. Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Have there been any GD tv spots or interviews etc lately? just interested
greendaytone Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Have there been any GD tv spots or interviews etc lately? just interested I don't think there's been an interview for a while. The only upcoming thing is the Lollapolooza show highlights from 2010 on Nick Teen TV, i believe.

miragots Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Have there been any GD tv spots or interviews etc lately? just interested If you havent seen Green Day's episode of Behind the Music:Remastered, i'd definitely watch that. It aired in december of 2010 and you could probably watch it on YouTube or something. I have it recorded and watch it all the time! But otter than that, there's nothing I know of...
bat-chen Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Considering his mum still lives there, that would be creepy as hell. I can imagine that: *walking in Billie Joe's old house* His mum: "who are you and what are you doing in my house?!" the fan: "I'm a big fan of your son and pretend that I'm not here"
miragots Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Does anyone know where I can find some good Green Day posters, online and possibly in a store in California...?

anny Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 hey hey I was wondering what songs you know, where GD pulls up fans on stage to sing along mostly or rarely? I guess there are some more than just Longview
Mary711 Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 hey hey I was wondering what songs you know, where GD pulls up fans on stage to sing along mostly or rarely? I guess there are some more than just Longview During East Jesus Nowhere, they're often pulling someone, mostly kids, onstage to be saved. Other songs are Know Your Enemy and Are We The Waiting. For Kowledge, people come onstage to play the instruments and I've although heard of someone onstage during JOS, but I've never seen that. Actually, this it how it was during the last tour. I hope that helped
Liam Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 hey hey I was wondering what songs you know, where GD pulls up fans on stage to sing along mostly or rarely? I guess there are some more than just Longview He gets people up for Know Your Enemy - gets someone up with him East Jesus Nowhere - to save them, most of the time its a child Are We The Waiting - gets someone up with him again for the hell of it Longview - gets 2 to come up and sing it Knowledge - gets 3 people up to play drums, bass and guitar Jesus of Suburbia - to get people up onstage to play guitar but only did that at the start of the (now over) tour Hope that helps
Pedestrian9394 Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 In Atlanta, he pulled up like 10 people to just dance and sing during 200 LYA and Paper Lanterns.
Jaymee!! Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 He pulled up a girl during 21st CB once during their 09 Europe tour, a girl who used to be a friend of mine. She was wearing a Snoo mask, and she just like ran around the stage for 15 seconds then Eddie kicked her off. My friend Danie was pulled on stage during JOS, but was purely just serenaded by Billie. She said it's just an overly emotional song for her (seems like it is for practically everyone who isn't me) and she said she was crying on the barrier and Billie just pulled her up and started singing to her. They bring people on stage to spray the crowd with water as well.
Pedestrian9394 Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 ^ I would kill for an experience like that. So sweet.
Underbelly Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Does anyone know where I can find some good Green Day posters, online and possibly in a store in California...? Just got a cool poster from a GD show in Madison Square Gardens at Amoeba Records in San Francisco last week...$10.
green day is Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 In an early performance, I think at Gilman but I'm not sure, he pulled up a guy and a girl during Only of You and told them to act the song out.
Hermione Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 In an early performance, I think at Gilman but I'm not sure, he pulled up a guy and a girl during Only of You and told them to act the song out. I'd forgotten about that! That was so cool haha. It was indeed Only At You at Gilman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKN6wAVoe2I But yeah seems like the chances of getting up on stage have increased a lot what with them starting to bring millions of people up during 2000 LYA on the last couple of legs of the tour. Hope they keep this new tradition going on the next tour!
Undómiel Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Random question... even though I've heard this song 17654396574 times, I'm wondering whether there's female vocals on the harmonies in "She".... or am I just hearing things???
DecanoLP Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I can't a hear a female voice at all. The only voice I hear besides Billie's is Mike's.
Undómiel Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I've always thought it was Mike I can't a hear a female voice at all. The only voice I hear besides Billie's is Mike's.
Hermione Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I think Green Day just happen to sing higher than most bands, judging by how easy it is for me to sing along with their songs. Because they're men the tone of their voices usually makes the notes sound lower than they really are. The harmonies Mike sings on Green Day songs are REALLY high , but you only really notice it on certain songs. She is one of them.
jon18 Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 They were so youg at the time. Their voices were very high, almost like girls.
fadi_7 Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I can't a hear a female voice at all. The only voice I hear besides Billie's is Mike's. then it's mike's voice ! (if there is a voice there cause i haven't heard anything YET )
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 They were so youg at the time. Their voices were very high, almost like girls. They were 21/22 when they recorded Dookie, by then their voices had definitely broken already
