Which seems weird to me, but apparently he wants to stick with that. He ranted about it on twitter and then deleted the tweets the next morning, lol. 39/Smooth IS the name of their first album, to be fair. They released the 1000 Hours EP, then the Slappy EP, and then their first album 39/Smooth. 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours is a different album that was released later on - it's compilation of 39/Smooth and the two EPs. That's all he was trying to explain. But he got a bit angry about it Edit: Too slow

Thanks There's an entire thread to the American Idiot movie here, in which in the last 5-8 or so pages you will find loads of dicussion about that. No official source has confirmed it as far as I know, but according to articles, it is true Billie is playing the role. As for delaying the album, there are different opinions about that, which you can definitely read a lot about in the thread.

Watch it on BIAB, only 2 guitars on stage, 1 is on Billie which doesn't play at the start and the other is Jason but yet you hear that guitar intro and the acoustic guitar going at the same time. You have set design, set building, editing, ect, ect... so the actual parts that Billie is doing in the movie may only take two months to film. No official source has confirmed it as far as I know, but according to articles, it is true Billie is playing the role. As for delaying the album, there are different opinions about that, which you can definitely read a lot about in the thread. An official source has confirmed it.

I guess it looked good with their new smarter style of dressing so they went for it. Funnily enough they'd all worn eyeliner before, back in the early days of the band they often used to wear it. Pretty sure it's a third party, athough people close to the band do have input and are the ones providing the items of information on occasion. The rest of it, they get from the same sources as people here do (including GDA sometimes!) although they have to go through the process of confirming it, so it often gets posted late or not at all. That said, it is pretty sorry-ass that whoever updates the FB and twitter for GD didn't even correct the spelling of Billie Joe's name on the most recent tweet and FB posting. I guess that is what happens when it's a business running things instead of a cadre of loyal fans. Also, I say "ten thirty nine" and "Money twenty-twenty."
