It was written for the cast but not for the show. Every night, they gather before the show and they all put their hands in, you know, like when you're about to go out and it's supposed to pump you up, they go, "1, 2, 3, IT'S FUCK TIME!" I'm pretty darn sure that it was written and they decided it was more Foxboro Hot Tubs than Green Day. Sorry if I'm mistaken that's right I think they record it like this: drums, then bass, then guitar, then at at the very end, vocals. I might be wrong though. I don't think it's for the rhythm as they only started to record that way for 21cb I think, maybe AI. I remember Billie saying he heard that's how The Beatles did it and wanted to try it out.
