letterbomb_19 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I wonder what do the cigarettes and the valentines represent in the song "C&V"? Could someone explain it to me? @Savannah89: I´ve never heard about this interview/quote of Billie talking about an argument with Adie , but there could be an interview... I´ll look for it.

letterbomb_19 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 please, could you help me!!! I found a website about Billie Joe (it´s on german, but I´ll translate it). It´s about himself (birthday, his wife and his kids, which guitars he plays,...) but there is something about Woodstock and it says: "Green Day sind für die Schlammschlacht beim Woodstock '94 verantwortlich (es starben sogar 4 Menschen)". in english: "Green Day are accountable for the mud-fight at Woodstock ´94 (4 people even died)" is this true? please help me! btw: for everyone who understands the other text: I know that most of it is false (like that Billie´s the youngest of 5 children (i know that he´s the youngest of 6 children). but i´m not sure if this ^part is right or false

I think that's false.

oda Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I've did some research, and apparently 4 people died at woodstock 94. I don't know if it was during Green Day's gig, but two died of medical issues and two died in a car accident on the way home. EDIT: source http://www.nytimes.com/1994/08/15/nyregion/woodstock-94-the-overview-woodstock-music-fades-and-muddy-trek-begins.html
Savannah89 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 What?????? I always thought there isn´t anyone who died during or after a green day concert Oh my god. But I have a question which I asked before but there was no reaction. If I believe right there was a quote or article in a magazine where billie was asked when he cried the last time and he said it was before 21st century before he started touring again and had an argument with adrienne. Does anyone know where it came from????? And how the exact quotation was?????? I can´t find it anymore.

I tryed finding it since you asked but i can't see any article about him having an argument with Adie
Hermione Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Yeah Billie mentioned that some people died there one of the times he talked about playing at Woodstock and how crazy it was. I'm pretty sure none of the deaths were connected to Green Day's show in any way though or we would've heard about it. When you get thousands of people at a festival for several days it's always possible people might die there for whatever reason. If I believe right there was a quote or article in a magazine where billie was asked when he cried the last time and he said it was before 21st century before he started touring again and had an argument with adrienne. Does anyone know where it came from????? And how the exact quotation was?????? I can´t find it anymore. I remember reading that quote in an article at some point since 21st CB came out but I can't remember which one, there's so many! But he definitely did say that. Dunno if anyone else can remember which article it was?
Savannah89 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 @little girl: Thank you so much. Does anyone else have a clue about this quote????? I would be thankful.
Hermione Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I can't find the article but that's all he said about it anyway. He was asked the last time he cried and he said it was when he and Adrienne had an argument just before he left to go on tour. That's all it was.
Savannah89 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 :hug:ah okay. thanks a lot. if anyone else find the article to this quote I go on with searching for it cause a friend asked about it and i can´t remember the magazine where it was. But thanks so much Hermione
green day is Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I have a couple of questions about the origins of stuff. Where did the Dookie Demos come from? I know they're just demos from when they were in the process of recording Dookie, but who put them online and where did they get them? Where did "Boys in the Bathroom Stall" come from? I've heard it was one of Tré's messages on the official site, but does anyone know for sure? Where did the alternate Warning video come from? Same as Dookie Demos, who put it up and where did they get it?

I've heard it was one of Tré's messages on the official site, but does anyone know for sure? Where did the alternate Warning video come from? Same as Dookie Demos, who put it up and where did they get it? I've always wondered about the Dookie demos as well. I know the first one (the one with Walkin The Dog) was used to give to record labels but I don't know who uploaded it and how they got it. As for the 2nd one, I have no idea about that. And I was wondering about the Warning video as well, I'd never heard of it before.
pasalaska Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Where did the alternate Warning video come from? Same as Dookie Demos, who put it up and where did they get it? The alternative warning video can be found on the special edition Warning that also has the EPK and the 'vote for Billie Joe' campaign video on it. (that's the video that has clips of them recording and playing Warped and whatnot right? There's a shot where a motorbike goes flying through the air in the background? Just making sure we're talking about the same thing)
Anja Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 What?????? I always thought there isn´t anyone who died during or after a green day concert Oh my god. No one died at a GD show. The Woodstock people died because of a car accident and medial issues as posted above. I actually find it misleading saying they died at Woodstock since the car accident has nothing to do with the actual festival.
Tripe Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 (that's the video that has clips of them recording and playing Warped and whatnot right? There's a shot where a motorbike goes flying through the air in the background? Just making sure we're talking about the same thing) That's the one.
Savannah89 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 @Anja: Yeah maybe. I accidently overhelmed a little bit. It might be not correct to say they died during the festival. Furthermore I ask myself: You maybe all know about this Billie without wisdom teeth video. I don´t know what to think about it. Some at you tube mentioned: Yeah his wisdom teeth were pulled and they saiy "I´ve seen a dark hole in his mouth and he sounds weird because of it. Others: No, it was only a joke. I don´t know what to think about it. What is true? Can anyone tell me?
