Is there anyway that you can meet Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre, at a GD show? How can you?

There's no exact formula of how to meet them. You could just be really lucky and run into them on the street. When they're on tour the best chances you'd have of maybe meeting them is if you turn up really early to the venue (in my case 28 hours early!) or if you just happen to run into them in the area they are playing. For example, the night before they played in Dublin they went out to a bar in the city centre, so people there got to see them.

You have to be very lucky though!

My question: Does anyone know more about why they included that percussion intro in Extraordinary Girl? It sounds quite arabian, and is a great way of splitting up Act 1 and Act 2 of the album IMO. Still, I haven't heard any reasons as to why they did it, cos it is pretty random.

Nah they're actually not related :D. People just ask if they are all the time, so Billie tweeted that as a joke.

They're both musicians, male, and have the same last name. That's about as far as it goes.

Random Question but does anybody know if Tre uses click tracks/metronome through his monitors for some songs?

ah, I see. thanks :)

How did he injure his ribs?

there's gotta be multiple cases and videos of Billie stopping and helping people in the audience. At the Manchester show in 2010, Billie stopped half way through good riddance because he'd spotted someone collapsed in the audience.

There's also the video of Billie jumping on the 'mohawk motherfucker' for being a dick in the pit.

Do you have a link to those types of videos?? The Good Riddance one, I mean.

Well when performing Boulevard of Broken Dreams live he always wore metronome headphones, although more recently he has stopped doing that. All I know!

Well (in my personal view) I hate the word "faggot" and I absolutely hate it when people use it (which, sadly, is extremely often). But it's not because I think the world is built around me, it's because in my experience most people do in fact use the word to mean it's literal meaning of a derogatory term for someone who is homosexual. I doubt you were trying to use it in that form of the word in this case, but just keep in mind that elsewhere it is used in an extremely negative way and people definitely have the right to point it out and to be against it no matter what the context. If you want to express your hate towards whoever you are talking about, there are plenty of other acceptable words that you could use that won't potentially offend people or be taken in the wrong way.

For fucks sake! a Faggot is a piece of meat in gravy faggots.jpg

They were long before some dickhead made the word Homophobic so basiccly they may be complementing your meat ey-ey ;)

Does anyone know where I can find a Foxboro Hot Tubs shirt?

I found this one, but are there any others somewhere (I've seen people with other designs)?

I got mine off ebay, but I'd say your best bet is doing a google search and looking at various band merch stores.

Ah, caught :D I was always sure that they're not related, actually. Guess, I'm not able to get sarcasm after eleven :D

it actually is Tre saying that part, if you'd seen or heard Hungry Hungry Models, you'd know his voice can get quite low-pitched.

You are WAY wrong.

I totally agree with you! I always think it's Tre and I'm sure that's him.

Hey everyone, this is my first time posting on the forums so firstly nice to meet you all!

I have a question about the video production GD use on tour.

As we all know on the 21st CB tour they use video footage on the screens behind them, and Im curious, do these exist anywhere on the web cause Id LOVE to see them up close in great quality, especially the 21 guns one.

I saw them being used in GD Rockband but nowhere else. Is it a top secret thing only they own? Probably haha.

Anyway any replies would be greatly appreciated

When you listen to the "My Name is Ivor" part of A Quick One, it actually sounds like a few of them singing it, not just one person. I had always assumed it was Mike but I actually have two versions of that song- both ripped from Youtube. One version is a lot lower than the other so it's hard for me to hear it properly- because now that I think about it, in the higer pitched version it does actually sound like Tre when I listen out for it. But I hear more than one voice.

Oh did you already say that? Sorry it was just the first thing that came to mind.

The main reason I think it must be Billie is when I saw them do it live Billie did it. Can't see why Mike wouldn't have done it live if it's him.

But someone also said that Tre did it at MSG.

Maybe they all sing it. Evvvvveryone's right! :D

Where is everyone getting the Network mask replicas? I've seen them in pictures around the forum, so is there someone on here that makes them?

Well yeah Tre does the talking bit (and did the talking bit at MSG), I just mean the singing bit. But yeah! It could be Billie doing the singing bit with Mike doing backing vocals and Tre doing the talking bit. I like that :D
