EvanAsFuck Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 In bullet a bible in the bit before they go on the stage backstage you can see a orange amp connected to a marshall speaker. Does anyone know what this is for? I can't seem to find what your talking about, but if it's just an amp backstage I'd imagine it's either a practice amp for warming up pre-show or just an extra amp that's regularly brought around with them...

Yeh I know what you mean. But i reckon thats the not the case as if i could find a video on youtube. One its set up so isnt just something brought around with them. And 2 well its in a pritty weird place for practising. Like i mean its outside by the entrance to the stage.
Sabz Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 So, I was wondering how many CD singles do Green Day actually have avaliable? im trying to collect them all, and i cant find a definite answser to how many there is and which songs have them, e.g does Macys Day Parade have a CD single? as it was a single wasnt it? Thanks guys

Hmm, do you remember what song it was after/before? Like which cut scene it was? Thanks guys This List covers mostly all of the singles I think. Although a lot of them have multiple versions (different colors, imports, etc.) And yes, Macy's Day Parade does have a single (see here), but I'm pretty sure in really rare and hard to find...

Thanks guys There are very many but some are extremely rare and expensive. Such as Blood, S*x and Booze, 86, Macy's Day Parade, and Ha Ha You're Dead. You would have to have a lot of luck and money to get those.
Guest EDIT Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Sorry but this amused me Ya, but parents check what I have posted, I'm thirteen, what are you gonna do?
captain peroxide Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Sex is no dirtier than booze, mate. You could've said fuck, and then we'dve been in real trouble.

MidnightMuffin Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Hey, some time ago there was a youtube video posted on GDA that showed Billie Joe literally saving someone in the moshpit. I tried to find it, but the keywords "Billie Joe Armstrong" Green Day" "concert" "saving" only bring up East Jesus Nowhere videos :(Does anyone have a link to that? I think this may be the one you are talking about. Link This was the one that was posted on GDA. He stops at about :49.
Spider Tre Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 when was the last time they performed the song 'Warning'?
Liam Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Ya, but parents check what I have posted, I'm thirteen, what are you gonna do? Why the hell would your parents go on your GDC account and check your posts? I was on here at 13 and my dad didn't care. I was swearing (not like a sailor) by the age of 13 and again my dad didn't care.

letterbomb_19 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I don´t know if there is a answer for this question , but I was thinking abou why Billie Joe wears a shawl in his sac at every (or near every) concert? I was thinking about it but maybe it´s just because he likes it. I don´t know... Do you know it?

If you're talking about the bandana in his back pocket, I think that's mostly a traditional thing for musicians. It's also an undercover way of letting people know your sexuality (depending on the color of the bandana and the pocket it's in) but I don't think that's why Billie wears it necessarily. A lot of musicians do it. For example, I was watching a Metallica live DVD and James Hetfield wears one too.
jamesobxfan2296 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Does anyone know what kind of pants Billie Joe wore on the 21st century breakdown tour in the U.S. last year? I think they're red striped pants. I think in the first two shows or something of the tour he wore like black striped pants. What kind of pants would you call them?

I think it started because guitarists would need to clean their guitars during a show, and they kept some cloth in their pocket to do that. Of course these days Billie doesn't need to clean off his guitar (he'll just get another one) but it has become a tradition. He probably wears it for fashion more than any other reason.
XxRedundantCastaway86xX Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Is there a story behind why Waiting sounds so much like the song "Downtown?" I love the song, I've just always wondered if the band's ever commented on the similarities between it and Downtown. Like have they ever just said "Yeah it's kind of like a parody" or "We kind of just borrowed parts from the song" or anything like that?
November's Storms Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Only thing I can contribute is the fact that in the lyrics of Waiting, the word "downtown" is quite prominently sung
