green day is Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I have a binder with a bunch of GD-related stuff on it and a poster with a ton of over-lapping, handwritten GD lyrics. Mainly from American Idiot because I was listening to it a lot at that time. There's also a little bit of Hawthorne Heights lyrics and my own lyrics too. On the back there are dolphins.
BuckBuckBuckles Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Just awesome! I would love to do this kind of thing!

Annie, get your gun Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Hello everyone! I make clothes and do a lot of t-shirt reconstructions and thought it'd be cool to see a post of handmade Green Day items you've either bought or made. Dookie was the first album I ever bought. It was on cassette tape if that gives you any indication of how long ago that was. So here's my contribution to the thread! http://smarmyclothes.com/images/tops10/green_day_stripe_punk_top_04.jpg http://smarmyclothes.com/images/tops10/green_day_stripe_punk_top_02.jpg Reconstructed American Idiot Tee http://smarmyclothes.com/images/dresses10/gdh.jpg http://smarmyclothes.com/images/dresses10/gdh_03.jpg Plaid Kerplunk hoodie dress http://smarmyclothes.com/images/gallery2/gd1.jpg http://smarmyclothes.com/images/gallery2/gd1.jpg This dress is quite a bit older. WOW. This is more than cool! I like the dresses! You know, I do something like that... Only homemade t-shirts, with a picture for transfer I already made 5 or 6... But you have a great talent with GD clothes
Slappy. Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Wow, those are seriously amazing! When it said handmade I imagined some kind of cut up shirt or something but those are so professional looking. You are really talented
whatshername0303 Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Amazing! I like the Kerplunk! dress ( ) , the American Idiot t-shirt, the Converse...you did all a great work!
kcgrl1124 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 I made this shirt on a website and I'm thinking about ordering it or just sending the design over to a Tshirt printing shop to make a Tshirt? I dunno I just like it =D front: back:
mallorymaloney Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Hello everyone! It was on cassette tape if that gives you any indication of how long ago that was. So here's my contribution to the thread! All of your handmade clothing is absolutely beautiful and extremely well made, but I've just spent the last few minutes browsing your online store, and sadly, I've found every single item to be seriously overpriced. I know I'll personally never be able to buy even a single piece, and that saddens me. Do you have any plans to make/sell more reasonably priced clothing ...? Keep in mind that us Green Day fans aren't exactly rolling in dough, haha!

smarmyclothes Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 Those dolls are awesome, and the BJ paper doll set is THE COOLEST THING EVER!!! How do you make those t-shirts? I would like to try it out! I have some tutorials here: www.WhatTheCraft.com Where can I get that AI blouse? The American Idiot top is available here: http://smarmyclothes.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1105 All of your handmade clothing is absolutely beautiful and extremely well made, but I've just spent the last few minutes browsing your online store, and sadly, I've found every single item to be seriously overpriced. Keep in mind that us Green Day fans aren't exactly rolling in dough, haha! I understand. I'm not rolling in dough myself. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to afford my own stuff. However, this is my job and I have to eat. I think people seriously underestimate the amount of time it takes to sketch, cut, sew, photograph, etc. So, too expensive for some, yes. Overpriced, no.
in_your_face Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I have some tutorials here: www.WhatTheCraft.com Thank you!
NothingButYourImagination Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I made these a few weeks ago. I had these old black wristbands just laying around and I thought I'd put em' to good use by turning them into GD & FBHT wristbands. I made stencils out of paper, pinned them onto the wristbands, painted the stencils with acrylic paints, and viola! I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and they glow in the dark too. One side of the Green Day wristband Other side of Green Day wristband One side of the Foxboro wristband Other side of the Foxboro wristband
saraHsunshine Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Weirdly enough I am wearing this right now. I cut up an old kerplunk tee shirt I bought somewhere that never really fit well and used fabric glue to attach it. I wish I had just sucked it up and stiched it but until recently I was not very good at sowing. The glue is messy and discolored bits of it though
koolkev Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 If I was a girl I'd get 'em.... Love the Kerplunk one! Great Job!!! If I was a girl I'd get 'em.... Love the Kerplunk one! Great Job!!!
