Nimrod would be completely awesome. Live versions of Worry Rock, Walking Away or Reject would complete my life...

There is a live version of Reject out there.

Insomniac. It'd be a blast from the beginning to the end.

Think about the awesome drumming and bass out there, rocking our ears. There would be a mosh in every song, and after 30 minutes you'd be tired as hell.

Who'd like hear Panic Song finally?

Damn, I wish that this wasn't a dream >_<

Voted for 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours. I love his style of songwriting on that album, and the solos. Mr. White, Mr. Freese and Mr. Matika would not be allowed on stage!

If something like this ever happens, I hope that they'll change the order of the songs. I want the shows I attend to be unpredictable.

Either 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours or Insomniac.

3 years ago, (in London and Florida) Less Than Jake did 6 shows, playing a different album in its entirety each night. I know Green Day would have 8 shows to do, (9 including Shenanigans) but can you imagine how amazing that would be? Uuuggggh, drool.

Wasn't it on some single even, Reject live? Or am I confusing things now....

Warning and Nimrod! :D its a tie

...I would choose either Kerplunk, Nimrod or Warning. :)

I'd say 21st Century Breakdown. I'd love to see one of the older albums, but I think 21st Century Breakdown would just be a great choice to play live. The songs and concept flow really well. I probably wouldn't pick American Idiot or Kerplunk, not because they're not as good, just because I think other albums would be better to play live. Nimrod would also be a really great one. They'd all be amazing, though! It'd be awesome to see any of them.

Id like to hear Kerplunk in its entirety to hear all those awesome songs with the voice Billie has now, Insomniac just because it would sound so good live! I saw them play Armatage Shanks in Montreal, at the soundcheck and during the show, and the drum beat at the beginning is so amazing! It gives me chills every time I listen to it! I cant imagine how good it would be if theyd ever begin a show with that song, and with all the following ones like 86, Stuck With Me, Stuart and the Ave, Westbound Sign :woot:

Id love to hear Nimrod too because the sound of the album is so diverse and it contains some of my favorite songs like Scattered and Uptight. Itd be interesting to hear The Grouch, Worry Rock, Haushinka, Reject, Take Back hopefully without Billie forgetting the lyrics

And Warning, just because they dont play songs from this album often enough at their shows. I heard Church on Sunday during their soundcheck in Montreal this summer and it sounded so great live! Songs like Blood, Sex and Booze, Waiting, Jackass or Misery would definitely be amazing too! If I had to choose between those four albums, it would be either Insomniac or Nimrod :)

That's so hard but I guess I have to say Nimrod.

hmm... I don't know.. all of them..

but if I had to pick, It would be either 1,039 or nimrod.

I voted for Warning. Just listen to Tune in Tokyo, it´s pure fun! Plus the show would end with Macy´s Day Parade, one of my favourites  It´s so I don´t know... powerful and moving though simple.

Warning :)

I need to hear a live version of misery and I don't think I've heard a live version of deadbeat holiday either

Posted

Nimrod, for sure :) It's such a kick ass album!

They've already done American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown fully in concert, so I'd go for Kerplunk. If they did it with the Sweet children EP, that would be even better!

Posted

Definatly Nimrod. Great album, but they only play a few songs live.

Wasn't it on some single even, Reject live? Or am I confusing things now....

yeah, it's on Redundant single

I think I would pick Warning, it's so underrated live. They barely played it even on this tour (aside from Minority), and plus I really would like to hear Misery or Church on Sunday live.

Nimrod, Kerplunk (old songs + new voice =) or 21st CB would be great, too.

The thing is though, for my first Green Day show, I would want a regular mixed set list, like the ones from the 21st CB tour. After a 'regular' show or two, then I would probably appreciate the back-to-front one album thing more.

Kerplunk for sure. That has to be my favorite album they're ever made :) Hearing that was the band has matured would be great, because their voices have changed and barely any of those songs are played.

and maybe we could figure out all those lyrics i can't seem to understand

:whistle

I vote Kerplunk because I've grown a new found appreciation for it since removing the Sweet Children EP from it in iTunes in the last month, but I'd add J.A.R or When It's Time or a song written from that era that makes a better closer than Words I Might Have Ate. Plus No One Knows live would be great, completely different to anything they've played live before.

I'd say dookie JUST for my beloved pulling teeth

But insomniac is my favorite album

Or maybe nimrod.

Nimrod > Kerplunk > Dookie > 1039 > Warning > Insomniac > 21CB > AI

I just stared at the screen for like a minute trying to decide between Dookie and Kerplunk.

I'd have to say Kerplunk though, it's not even my favorite album but the fact that those songs are hardly ever played would be awesome. And I can't even imagine what the atmosphere would be like at a concert like that. It'd be freaking nuts.

Nimrod. One of their longest albums, with lots of hits, Platypus would be awesome, Nice Guys Finish Last is perfect as an opener, and Prosthetic Head is perfect to close with! I think Nimrod is an album that just cannot go wrong live, and thats why i think it should be played all the way through! One exception though, Last Ride In.
