in_your_face Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 wooot! Green Day members are surely going though a tough time. Are the Frustrators'' songs worth listening?
pasalaska Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I am so excited for this! I love the Frussies I am resigned to the fact that I'm not gonna see them live, though Are the Frustrators'' songs worth listening? yes. they are brilliant.
GDM Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 wooot! Green Day members are surely going though a tough time. Are the Frustrators'' songs worth listening? I love the Frustrators. Smart, funny, and crazy but they do sound different from Green Day. Chandler is the lead singer he's one of the smartest people I've ever meet and funny as hell. Mike's bass is so hot on Frustrators songs, and Art and Terry are excellent on drums and guitar. I have written about them before, with a history and links to stuff. Have fun discovering them! What's Up With the Frustrators?
-Billiejoezee- Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Maybe shows in California. AMAZING news!!! I can't wait for the new EP AND especially the Cali tour! Stephanie, maybe we can meet each other if they have a gig here in LA.
SOMERTEN Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Wonder if there is any chance of a tour. Come to the UK Mike!
Tubbie Head Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Well, That band doesn't interest me much, I have never listened to the band much either. It's like Pinhead Gunpowder for me... There's not much for me to love about those bands. I'll of course listen to the EP when it comes out =)
djrossstar Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Younger Green Day fans who first discovered the band during 2004 (American Idiot) would probably be unaware of The Frustrators unless they decided to collect everything in Green Day's back catalogue. Since The Network album came out in 2003, one year prior to AI, when I had the chance to see them open up for Green Day at The Wiltern in 2005, only 10 - 20 people knew who they were. I actually remember people booing them too ... Here are some other MD Rarities for you to check out: Mike Dirnt played bass/ back vocals on Screeching Weasel's 'How To Make Enemies and Irritate People' & 'Suzanne's Getting Married 7''' You can also find him playing on Squirtgun's self-titled record, the song is called 'Make It Up' He is also on Sabrina Stewart's EP. alaniluau Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I can't wait! I'm so excited they've officially confirmed the album. The Frussies write some of the catchiest stuff I've ever heard. If they do a Cali tour, count me in!

I think pretty much any Green Day fan who hasn't decided to collect everything in Green Day's back catalogue would be unaware of The Frustrators, regardless of how old they are or when they became a fan.
