Little Girl Little One Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 ^ I can't believe I forgot to say When It's Time. The live versions are tolerable, but the studio one makes me . After getting the AI cast album, I've finally grown to like it well enough. I still think it's a bit overproduced (the way Billie's voice echoes at the start annoys me), but now, I sometimes find myself in the mood to listen to it.
The Platypus! Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 I can only think of Last Night On Earth. But it's not that bad of a song.

When Its Time was such a lovely song when we first heard it, until WMG got their grubby producer hands all over and ruined it.

Yeah, the live version is so much better than the studio version. Actually, I even like the cast version better than Green Day's studio one. Let's see if anyone takes that sacrilegiously.
Broken_Tune Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 No One Knows from Kerplunk never grew on me. i don't hate it but.......well.......i dunno : P
SweetChildren_ Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Misery Panic Song Jaded Christian's Inferno Viva la Gloria? (Little Girl) Homecoming Platypus (I Hate You) Last Ride In King For A Day Take Back Espionage
Hermione Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 ^ I'm MADLY in love with almost all of those , I think that's the most shocking list I've seen yet.
Spastic Socialite Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 Im not sure if theres a song thats never grown on me. Thats what I love about Green Day, no matter what i feel like listening to, there always seems to be a song that fits. I think if there were tw songs i dont listen to as much it would have to be Macy's Day Parade and Rest. and I dont know how people can say they dont like espionage/last ride in!!
Marlee Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 For the longest time, I thought panic song was an instrumental song, so i really didn't like it, but then i realized it just had a 2 minute long into...and i don't feel that big of a difference
GreenPlek Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 misery. don't like that song. i don't know why..but ...i don't like misery
Pinheadstern Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Platypus, Take Back, Rotting, Christians Inferno, and Misery awwwww man, Rotting is such a great song
Lindsey Love Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 There isn't any song that I absolutley dislike. And sometimes I'll dislike a song one day and then love it the next. But one that I've never really cared for is probably 'Only of You' It isnt that it's necessarily a bad song, I just never really listen to it much.
Saint of Suburbia Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Christian's Inferno Most of the stuff before Dookie Don't like the studio version of Last Night On Earth but seeing it live and experiencing what it means to BJA was incredible.
Zelda Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Lately I've started to dislike Walking Alone...I never really listen to it anymore. It's a bit boring.

I can't stop listening to that song I love it so much lol. Sometimes I'm not in the mood for Viva La Gloria (Little Girl), and Misery. Also Warning sometimes just because I'm heard it 1,000 times. The songs I've heard a shit ton of times sometimes im not in the mood for, but for that reason only. I really dont dislike any Green Day song. there are just days where you'd rather listen to some ones more than others, y'know?
Sofouska Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Hmmm...I could NEVER remember the lyrics of Take Back and when I hear Last Ride In, oh well, i have to admit that I click to listen to the next song

Hermione Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Minessota (however you spell it) Girl Sorry it just makes me want to My least favourite has always been their cover of My Generation. I love the raw/do-it-yourself sound of their really early songs, that's not what I don't like about it. The thing I don't like is it's such an energetic song, but their version lacks energy. I'm not sure what it is (it might be the out-of-time "talking bout my generation" backing vocals) but something makes it sound lethargic and lacklustre. It's amusing to listen to sometimes but I'm not a big fan of it. Loved them doing it live as the Foxies though, that was energetic!
toomuchtoosoon Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Walking Alone.... I've never liked this song. I have a hunch they only included it on Nimrod because it had a harmonica part and they were trying to be "experimental" or something like that. Christian's Inferno Ugh... the chorus is dull, and doesn't fit the rest of the song. Honestly, if it had a better chorus, I would probably like it more, the rest of the song is interesting. Tightwad Hill It's a blatant filler track... there's nothing wrong with it, but it doesn't amaze me. Pulling Teeth I've just never got this one... it sounds like some kind of semi-country western music parody.
